WECKWood Lid Medium Fits Weck Jars with 3 1/8" Openings Models 900 901 908 976

I'm SO glad I tried these! I wasn't sure whether or not to bother, based on the reviews, and now I'm wondering if maybe there are different manufacturers making different quality lids because mine are absolutely perfect. I was able to completely remove the rubber gasket and wash both parts thoroughly before use. Once dry, I reassembled, and they fit my Weck jars perfectly. I mean I wouldn't fill them with water and toss in a purse, but I didn't expect that. They do stay in the jars if I turn the jars upside down. They are much prettier than the white plastic cap, much less fussy than the glass top with clips (which I only use when I am canning). And for what it's worth, I tried the cork ones as well, but I found the cork ones didn't seal at all, plus you wouldn't be able to really get them clean, so I returned the cork ones and plan to purchase more of the wooden type. Sure, they are expensive, but Weck jars are already so expensive... If I'm being honest, I kind of regret the $200 or so I've invested in my Weck jars since they are so fussy. This is an additional investment, yes, but it makes the lot of them so much more useful.

These wooden lids look great on my Weck jar! I keep one on my counter to store coffee beans and this looks much better than the standard metal lid. It fits snugly but is relatively easy to put on and remove. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade appearances.

I am trying to replace broken canister lids. I never thought it would be this hard to find. I finally found the wide regular size (another brand) that fit my smallest canister but, that was the largest size they offered. I finally found this brand and their “large” fit two of my 3 larger canisters with almost too tight of a fit. Definitely not an easy on process. I ordered the “medium” thinking that surely it should fit that last canister that is just a smidge smaller than the large one…..NOPE! It’s the same size as the small “regular” sized lid. Frustrating. I’ll be sending it back.

Fits my old candle jar beautifully! It looks like a quality piece, and feels sturdy, too. I like how it can be used for so many different things, if I want. Great way to modernize old glass!

I store baking soda and salt in Weck jars in my pantry and love the look of these lids on them instead of the glass tops. Easy to use. My only complaint is that some floated a little (pulled away in places from the jar), most likely because the wood and gasket aren't always plumb.

I have a tall coffee mug that I wanted a lid for. Fits perfectly.

What else can I say. Expedient delivery and proper fitment. Only time will tell of its quality.Edit: Not more than 3 days of use, the lids pops right back up. This lid is not a proper fit for a weck jar. I wish that I would have paid more attention to all of the reviews. Nearly all of the state the lid does not remain seated.

The wooden lids are amazing! They made it so much easier to store things without the hassle of the clips. I love the look of it too! Only downside is how expensive they can be!
