2Pac: 2Pacalypse Now Vinyl 2LP

For being 2pacs 1st album it’s very good some songs I don’t like as much but a lot have a deep meaning like “Brenda’s got a baby”

Very politically charged album from Pac where is is extremely direct and serious. In his later work, which unfortunately spanned a pretty short length of time, he merges social topics with universal allusions to suffering, joy, ambivalence and then eventually entrenches further into the world of fame and Death Row. This is straight up that black panther influence in his upbringing, and his enormous intellect. It may not have the "sick production" of his later albums or always feel as illustrative or relatable, but it is an astonishingly good breakout record.

Pac's album came out when he was 19. Over the next five years, his style would mature, and his abilities as an MC would improve, but this album and Strictly offered up some of his best storytelling raps and most of his great political commentary tracks.For someone to consider this debut "mediocre" or "disappointing," they must not be able to understand the hip hop climate of the late 80s and early 90s, before The Chronic. Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Ice T etc. all made headlines and splashes with albums that covered the same topics as 2pacalypse. They must also overlook the fact that Brenda's Got A Baby, Violent, Soulja's Story, If My Homie Calls, Trapped and Part Time Mutha might be the largest and best collection of hood stories ever told in rap form all on one album.If you're looking for the GFunk beats of Chronic or the production on Illmatic and Ready 2 Die, you won't find them here or in any other album in 1991. With that said, how can anyone claim that these tracks don't have tight beats?This was an incredible album created by a kid at a young age.

Fantastic song writing here from Tupac Shakur. Brought this years ago, had to buy get it again a 2nd time... As this is a special gift for myself an X-mas Prezzie. Plus this is real cool rap music mate and... I would recommend this 1st class rap music Title to anyone who likes this Artist. This is the $*** good taste music of the genre and old school. Also it has got to be one of my all time rapping favourite bad ass albums to bump in its lyrical style content and musical tunes plus... Because this man was absolutely brilliant + a true talent.
