Useless
To cut cost they made this so thin it fails to grip no matter how much you tighten the nut. To operate it is a function of surface contact grip/friction against throttle spring back torque. If the device is 4 millimeters wide the contact area for grip [4mm x 0.8 x throttle circumference] against 17 newton meters (or 12.5 ft/lb throttle spring torque), thus it has no hope of holding. Sad really as it is a good design badly built.

Works fine if you follow directions
Quality material, used it on a 2018 Concours 14 with the supplied extra rubber sleeves. Not perfect but better than no cruise control.

DIDN'T WORK
My dealer service shop professional installed this throttle lock, and it just didn't work. I TRIED to use it, but the throttle immediately began slipping when the lock was engaged. This was true even when adjusted it to its tightest setting. WASTE of MONEY. Pass on this.

Bad
Honestly I expected a little better but it slips majorly no matter how much you tighten it. Helps for maybe a mile and starts losing grip on the throttle. Don't go cheap if you want a throttle lock on your cycle
