Worst quality you would ever get, small piece coming off the mortar into the garlic paste. Waste of money

I bought this to grind up spice to make authentic Persian rice. The marble is beautiful and the size is just right — but the safron stained the white interior right away. Maybe that's normal but I wouldn't know as this is my first purchase of a mortar and pestle. Nonetheless, it's disappointing to see how fast the interior stained. If I had to do it over again, I would have purchased a darker color.

I ordered it because it looked beautiful, and it was just as beautiful as the product pic! The inside is smooth, so it wouldn’t be effective as a spice grinder. But, I only bought it for its beauty, and I am very pleased!

The bowl is too slick and polished spices just slide around, the pestle is too short and difficult to use with your hand hitting the top of the bowl. Looks pretty but doesn't function. Don't waste your money with this one.

Sturdy, good quality and beautiful! I’d recommend to anyone wanting to decorate their kitchen or try new and old recipes!
