I bought this kit primarily for tire sidewall cleaning. We've been shampooing our carpet and found some small surprise stains from food and the cats. I chucked up the big red brush in my cordless drill, hit the spots with some spray carpet cleaner and gave them the works. Presto! Stains gone.Admittedly this is by no means a thorough test for this kit, but it bodes well. I think it's worth the money.

Overall a good value, unfortunately the way that the 1/4 inch drives connect to the brush’s is very cheap and will fail if pushed too hard. So they would not be good for extensive use, but get the job done in a hurry, and because it comes with so many of them, generally serves the purpose!

So far I've used these pads and brushes for cleaning both our bathrooms, porcelain sinks and toilets, the fiberglass tub and shower enclosures, the kitchen sink and cabinets and the stove: they worked great. After reading the reviews, I had my husband pick up a cordless screwdriver that swiveled and was small, lightweight and lower speed. (It also has lights!) It worked great. The lower speed will make sure I don't strip out the plastic brushes before their time, and if a slower speed means it takes a little longer, so be it. It took 20 minutes to scrub all those things listed above, which would have taken me 2 hours of detailed scrubbing and labor to get the same clean. I'm going to experiment and see if I can make an attachment to use eraser sponges which are great for certain things - I'm sure this is NOT on the approved list, LOL. But I will buy these again when my brushes get worn out and used up. One of my better purchases.
