My husband got this in a darker stained version for a father’s day gift and he likes it so much that he asked for a second one in the lighter/natural stain for our vacation home—so now we have two. It gives him a place to put his phone, wallet, watch, and glasses so that he can always find them when he is looking for them. There is a small area tucked underneath the phone stand where he can just fit his wallet. So why the 3 stars? The first one we ordered had no problem with quality. But while I was putting this one together, the piece that holds the phone cracked. I didn’t want to bother with returning it so I used wood glue to glue it back together and held it with rubber bands overnight while the glue dried. I’m disappointed that this one cracked so easily.I added little felt feet stickers to the bottom to keep it from scratching the wood table where he keeps it.The darker wood one that he got for Father’s Day made a very nice gift and he likes it a lot, but this particular one with the lighter wood was disappointing because the wood cracked right away.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be.
