I found out yesterday, with the help of Foscam tech support, that the 5V 2000ma power adapter for my Forscam IP camera was defective. The red power LED on the camera was blinking instead of showing a steady glow. I tested the output of the existing adapter using a standard VOM and read the voltage was bouncing erratically from 2 to 4.75V with no steady output whatsoever. It should have been reading 5+ volts DC with a steady output.Needing an immediate replacement I was almost ready last night to drive to Fry's Electronics (a 30-mile round-trip drive) and pay $19.80 including tax for a universal adapter. It would have cost about $7.00 in gas + an hour of my time to go pick up the adapter. As a last-minute alternative, I decided to check Amazon and lo and behold I found this adapter! This one is specifically indicated for failed Foscam cameras (among other items) and Amazon claimed "1-day delivery."It was a "no-brainer," I pulled the trigger instantly and to meet the minimum order requirement of $35 I added some Epson printer ink which I needed anyway to push the order total to well over the required $35. Well worth the effort and expense! The savings of at least $16 including gas and price difference along with my time would make the ink a freebie!I am stunned by the great service. This morning at about 7 A.M. I received notification on my smart phone's Amazon app that the order would be delivered before 10:30 A.M. and watched as the little green ball got closer and closer. By 9:00 A.M. my female Mastiff (Molly) was delivering the padded envelope to my office from the front door - the final leg of the delivery.By the way, I used a digital, LCD readout equipped caliper to measure the tip of the original plug at 3.5mm and there is an exact match in the bag which contained a total of 7 round plugs and one micro-USB plug. This is a very impressive selection of plugs. So many times in the past, using Radio Shack universal adaptors which cost over twice the price, I was disappointed by poorly fitting plugs.The actual voltage output on this adapter reads 5.24V DC Positive tip same as the OEM adaptor. The plugs are not reversible.

First I want to say I'm using this for a flight simulation USB hub, and bought this mainly because of the Prime shipping and the price. When it arrived, I found the charger to be dead (DOA). I tried multiple things, but had to e-mail their customer support. All they asked me for was the order # and address, and sent me a replacement asap! About a week later, the new one arrived and is working fine! The only reason for the 4 out of 5 is that I do have play around with the plug into the hub to get it to work, but as long a I'm not touching it the devices are powered perfectly and work just fine.Overall the biggest reason for the review is the outstanding customer support I received to fix this issue! Great help from them!Update: outtag sent me a "fixed" adapter that now fits my usb hub perfectly! Their customer service is second to none and I will definitely use and recommend them for further purchases!!!

I bought this to replace a lost power cord for a "Slide" netbook. The charger worked, and the slim profile means it packs well in my case. My only disappointment is the device does not have on-board storage for all the various tips. You have to carry them in a separate zip-lock bag if you want to keep all the tips together. It will be easy to lose them.

Great product. Although there are many transformers to be used with a numerous appliiances, this one fit my needs perfectly. I own a Logitech Squeezebox, originally designed by Slim Devices, Inc. and sold by Logitech. Mine is an early variety of the device, but unfortunately, it is no longer available except from someone who is selling their device. It provides wireless connection to many apprications available from your computer as well as radio stations throughout the world, and allows one to play the signal through a stereo setup.Unfortunately, my power supply for the Squeezebox got misplaced during a move. This transformer performs perfectly as a substitute for that original power supply and should be listed as such. Otherwise, a replacement power supply does not exist. I am very pleased with the purchase

I purchased this for an IP camera that a friend gave me that did not have the power adapter. It does the job very well. It comes with a little draw string bag to store the extra plugs in. I just wish the cord was a tad bit longer, but that's not enough of a problem to take a star away.

I have an off-brand 10-inch Windows 10 tablet and the power plug went bad. That was the problem, not the ac-dc power supply (permanently connected to the plug). It is a very tiny 2.35 x 0.75 plug which is not shown in the description but is a "standard" size. Not knowing the exact size I placed the order. The item arrived in less than 24 hours (thank you Amazon) and is now charging the battery.Changed to 4 Stars because the connector (gray with black housing) failed in less than a year. It's not necessarily the product's fault since it was plugged in most of the time when the tablet was being used, hence a lot of wiggling of the cable at the connector. I've never had that problem when using a tablet with the usual USB charging connector. Just something to keep in mind depending on your application.

Lots of sizes. Works on our kids "Sunny" lamp. Easier then replacing the 6 batteries every couple weeks.

It is as advertised but I had misread what I need so it was not what I needed. Will keep it for other uses though.

Very disappointed. Doesn’t even work for my vaccume. What is the point of making a charger like this if it’s not even compatible for the ones it should work for. Literally a waste of my money and time!!
