I can only read it when I'm on my home's wifi
I guess there's a way to configure it so I can see the temperature when I'm away but I can't figure it out.

VERY Inconsistent in providing data
VERY Inconsistent in providing data. For several months the 4 sensors provided notifications and worked well. Something happened about 1 month ago, possible software update, not sure and system has stopped doing automatic alarming via notifications. The sensors have to be manually polled to get readings. Worked with product support but no success in that area. They just didn't seem to understand what the problem was and just kept giving me the same instructions as I had already read in the product guide. Not any help. I have 4 freezers monitored. The closest 2 are no more than 15 feet from hub and hub can't always connect with them. I think a software update messed things up because they were working well for several months and sensor/hub placement has never changed. I will be replacing them with another brand. Too much at stake to have bad monitoring system.

Not for the deep freeze
I bought this for use in my deep freeze. I thought it would be great to get an alert if the temperature were to begin to rise, and to check humidity to control ice build up. The description says for use in freezers, and it meets the temperature guidelines. Imagine my surprise when I'm reading th instructions, only to find out that metal blocks the Bluetooth signal. All deep freezers are made with a metal lining. I stuck the sensor to the plastic basket inside the freezer and pointed the bottom up (apparently that's where the antenna is on the sensor) in hopes that it would somehow still work through the lid. It doesn't, and I still have to go and open the door for an update. For that, I could have spent $2 at Walmart on an old fashioned thermometer.
