I charged the calculus remover completely and switched it on, only the light worked but the calculus remover didn't vibrate/work. Was completely useless. Disappointing.

so just an impression first 20ish minutes using it tried on the first 5 bottom front teeth. ive got really bad plaque on my bottom front and back teeth that just cant get rid of with normal brushing manual or electric.i am completely shocked. it was so surreal and i was scared at first from previous experiences with the dentist when i was younger mid 20s now. had it on soft and normal power settings with the flat head attachment. it actually chips away the hard plaque.i thought i was going to feel sharp pains (maybe on higher settings we'll see when i feel up to it) but it barely feels like anything. very very mild tingly feeling on normal and nothing on soft. it does make a screeching (not sure if its actually audible or its just passing through my teeth into my brain) once it gets down to your actual teeth but on plaque its silent and turns that stuff into mush to rinse out and brush/wipe off after i actually took a couple of small chunks off and man its bad (disgustingly so).so far for 60aud and i guess first of many sessions to come im super impressed as this is a first impressions. im only leaving it at a 4 stars because it surprised me as i thought this might just be another scam but generally its nice that it has a spare point end plus the one already attached and a flat wide head. it also comes with a mirror which seems basic enough. its usb C so thats also convenient. simple on/off and power buttons with indicator lights. theres also a function where it doesnt activate if it touches gums i was skeptical but it works. if you get near the edge but as long as youre touching your tooth itll work but once youre off the tooth and into gum it stops so thats nice.i like the torch function though the colour is a little hard to distinguish surface colour personally dont prefer cool white lights. the build seems mediocre plastic which is concerning about longevity. concerned if water can go down the pik and into the device not sure if theres seals under the torch cover or if the torch cover because its rubber is the seal or not(obviously dont submerge it). theres an auto shut off after 10 minutes which was annoying as i was doing my first run on soft and was just chipping away until i noticed it wasnt doing anything and took a glance the lights were off did read the instructions and it states it there but the 10 minutes happened so fast i was zoning in then i tried the normal power for round 2. i was gripping it near the end (not the head pik like the instructions say not to touch) wished it was contoured or something wasnt exactly ergonomic was like using a fat pencil that had weight on the eraser end. so all those little grievances lost it a point.all in all id recommend. cant scratch with a toothpick or brush plaque away gotta use something like this.on a side note i assume anything cheaper (20-30aud or less) is useless and anything more expensive (above 60aud) is too expensive from what i can tell on amazon au theres like 4 different ones rebranded but some are double the price than the cheapest version of what seems like the same device. i chose this one because it was sort of in the middle budget wise.probably dont recommend if you have ultra sensitive teeth to micro vibrations or dont have the dexterity (im bit of a hobby diy person myself) to handle with some precision dont want to go stabbing your gums now the pointy head is pointy. very impressed holy cow havent been to a dentist in years and just 20 minutes now couple of teeth have no plaque and it didnt hurt to do it. also might be one of my first reviews im that impressed i gotta let someone know. lets hope build quality actually last at least a year

The item does not work. The lights come on but it is not working. Charged it for a few hours and no difference. To return the item Amazon wants me to pay and they will only refund me up to AUD 24.00 in whatever I pay for return shipping.

I have bought quite a few of these kind of devices. They would get some build up off but not the really tough ones. This little gadget did. Works great! Didn’t have to spend a lot of time or effect. Sleek design very user friendly.

Cleaned my dogs’ teeth better than a professional clean. She looks like a puppy again! No stains or plaque left over. Definitely recommend.

Charged it for two days could never get it to turn on. It has technical support- if it needs technical support to operate and get it to turn on there is something wrong!
