Snugg Legacy Leather Card Slot Flip Wallet Case for Apple iPhone 7 Plus - Orange

There is nothing I don’t like about the SNUGG phone case. It adds minimal bulk or weight to the phone. Material has a very nice feel. Solid construction. Works WAY better than the plastic cases that hold 1 credit card. Priced very reasonably. No reason to spend $40 on some of the higher priced brands. I’ve even had a few people compliment me on the case. Credit card,ID, and a few bills fit perfectly in this case. I’ll follow up in a few weeks to comment more on the durability.Update: 1/13 - Removed phone from case this morning & noticed a small piece broken off on the corner. I’ve dropped my phone a few times and thankfully screen has not cracked. Because of broken corner I have to downgrade my rating to 4 stars.Update 1/23/21: Another corner of the case is broken. This plastic is simply too thin to withstand normal handling and the occasional drop. Downgraded to 3 stars.

I purchased this Snugg case in 2016. I used it for a week. After using this Snugg case for about one week, I decided that a non-wallet style case was better for me so I purchased that, and I put this Snugg case back in the original box. I then placed the box on a shelf in my closet. Fast forward to two weeks ago when that non-wallet style case finally died and I needed a quick replacement. I took the Snugg case from the box, put my phone in it and used it--for about 10 days. After 10 days of use --sometimes carried in my pocket but mostly carried in my hand or sitting on a piece of furniture -- the cover and the holding flap are peeling and coming apart. The picture speaks for itself. Less than 3 weeks total use out of the box and this is what it looks like. The box picture is included to let the reader know that I really had it.

This is a wallet case and has an area under the front flap where you can put things you want to carry with you. The most important thing is the material which holds the phone is the strongest on the market and it will not let go of your phone if you drop the whole wallet. There is not an open ring in the back which shows that you have an Apple phone. That is no ones business and could lead to someone taking your phone in our country. I got four phone covers before I decided this was the very best and it is. If you drop your phone on its face, that may be a problem, but it will be a problem in any case you get. So use your phone and put it away by closing the wallet and making certain the magnetic closure is in place as it should be.

This would have been the perfect phone case for me however, after only a month I dropped it ONE time and the plastic piece that holds the phone in place chipped at the top right-hand corner. So I tried to continue using it but the broken part was too sharp. It hurt my ear every time I tried talking on the phone. Other than that it held my cards perfectly, plenty of slots for I.D.s, receipts, a few bucks, & was a good looking cover/wallet for my IPhone 7 plus. I love the magnetic closure. All the holes are perfect for charging, changing volume, turning on/off, etc... If it didn't chip/break I would have given 5 stars easy. The only other thing I would change is creating a hole on the front flap so when folding it back flush to the phone in order to take a video or pic while attached to a tripod/holder. No biggie, I can turn the cam so it's front facing but just an idea for a nice additional feature;)

I had the same Snugg case for my iPhone 6 and thought it was as perfect as can be. I purchased a new case for my larger iPhone 7 plus and again, I could not be more pleased. It makes my phone feel secure and well protected. I dropped my phone from hip height with the cover snapped closed onto pavement once and it provided enough protection so their was no damage.The case is well made and the fit is perfect. With so many cases to choose from, the price point is right and it is vegan. I would highly recommend this case. I will reorder another Snugg case if the iPhone 8 will not fit this current case.

Have bought multiple Snugg cases for my iPad 2, one case lasted about 5 years, and the 2nd is still going strong. This case, for my iPHONE 8 plus, I had hoped would be just as good. Seven months in to ownership, and the plastic gasket in which the phone actually rests has cracked in multiple places. It is still holding the phone, but there are sharp edges from the cracks that will catch your hand if you’re not careful.

I purchased this case just about 90 days ago and it is completely falling apart. The interior plastic case which holds your cell phone is crumbling. The corners have all broken away!!! Using my phone I was seeing things drop on my lap and I didn’t know what they were - it was pieces of the case.This is the first case I have ever had to replace due to damage. The case was purchased simply because I wanted an orange leather case not because I needed a new case.This case was never dropped in any way and it sits either on the counter or in my bag. This is the first negative review I have ever posted - buyers beware of this case!

I admit that I just received this case but the material feels good, color is true and the case fits well. I was a bit skeptical at first but the phone snap fits in well without obstructing any buttons or the camera and the magnet closure is “snugg” as named. The only negatives are the magnet closure is slightly weak, the card slot material lacks elasticity so don’t overload it with cards or it could tear. Also, the sewing is irregular at the creases so I suspect that is a vulnerability for wear and tear.I’m very pleased with the quality of the case given it’s price. Fits my slim iPhone 7 without adding much bulk so I still have a phone I can pocket!

****UpdateSnugg sent a new replacement case through that does seem to stand much better, will report back if it frays the same way again.Had a replacement case, and its broken a few months after getting it, im not heavy handed, the plastic is just poor.Let me start by saying I was a Snugg convert with my previous iPhones.Cases were always great, when on the odd occasion I had a problem, they always sorted it out, so I felt confident buying this case when my iPhone 7 Plus arrived... but..Sadly very quickly I was very dissapointed, and the Snugg service when i raised it has been poor.So whats wrong you ask..1) Well its worn badly on the strap for a start as can be seen in the image, it wore in a real short time in fact, a few weeks.2) The phone wont prop upwards for love or money so cant use it except as a flip case, previously I was able to use the case as a stand when the phone was landscape.3) When I raised my issues with Snugg they asked for a video, which of course I cant do as the phone would need to be in the case to show it not standing, so fail there.4) Its cracked easily when i removed my phone a few minutes ago to take a picture of the strap.Very, very dissapointed in the case and the brand now :(Sarah

I was pleased with the case until I dropped it on a carpeted floor and the plastic sleeve holding the phone broke. I've contacted the supplier several times asking them about their 'Lifetime Guarantee' but they won't respond to my emails. I've also tried to raise my concerns about this supplier's worthless guarantee with Amazon but they aren't interested either. Product otherwise OK but beware that the slightest knock will break the flimsy plastic that holds the phone.

The good:As usual, did a bit of research before purchasing this particular case. The case arrives, nicely packed in a presentation box and the quality appeared to be good, nice neat stitching on the leather with no loose or fraying ends. My iPhone 7 fits perfectly and there is no movement when the phone is in the case. The last also holds the case closed nicely.The not so good:The case is less than a week old an already showing signs of wear (see image) to make or receive a call you have to fold the case back on itself so as you can hold the phone comfortably and securely, already the leather is showing signs if splitting where the case folds, I am guessing in a couple of weeks it will have given way completely, not sure if this is a faulty case or whether they all go like this in the end, afraid to say this one will be going back.

Bought for my new iPhone 8 as was worried I might drop it and wanted all round protection for it. Fits well and has a nice feel to it and is a nice dark rich colour grey. I particularly bought this because of the suede like feel on the inside. I haven’t put any cards in the slots yet but I will only be using them for an emergency £10 note. The phone doesn’t get switched off by closing the case but it does go off after the usual few seconds of not being used. The cut outs seem to be in the right places but not all have been tried out yet but the way the inner case has been made means that they probably will (see last photo) a bit pricey but all the cheaper ones didn’t have a suede inner and to be fair it does feel and look like a more expensive cover compared to my previous ones. Would definitely buy again

I can't comment on the longevity of this case but it feels nicely made. The fastener and cover clip back okay. Unfortunately when making calls, iff you fold the front cover right round to the back it covers the video microphone which is used for background noise cancelling. The result is that the person at the other end of your call can only hear your very VERY muffled voice. If you don't fold the cover right back it is okay but a faff to hold the phone.Given I wanted a cover for my PHONE it's a fail really. I'm not sure that any alternatives of this type will be any better. At least my phone is protected in my pocket.
