Gave 4 stars due to its flimsiness. I use it to mask off watercolor paper before painting. It’s size is a bit larger than I wanted but that’s nothing to complain about.

First if all, pleasantly surprised by total lack of odor from a plastic product! Guessing it's melamine?I saw reviews saying it's too thin -- it will curve if you try to draw while resting it over your knees, but I'm only using it to separate markers from tables.For a relatively cheapo plastic product, it's also surprisingly even -- no warping. Looks easy to clean. It will certainly slide on a table, so you'll need a very thin traction sticker if you need it to stay put. Clip is the common bottom-quality variety, but doesn't have any issues.The little pothole artifacts might mess up pencil drawing, but it's only in the 2 spots shown in the photo.

I love this clipboard it is perfect for 8x10 watercolor paper. I am an Pen watercolor artist, when I travel I love sketching, this clipboard works for me! I can also put this clipboard on my easel too, light and great for on the go and to use at home when working in 8x10 or smaller paper size. Did I stated this clipboard is waterproof being plastic, just put the watercolor paper on, tape down and go to work.

First noticed that it wasn’t very strong, and it is too flexible for drawing. I have to place something hard underneath to so it doesn’t bend while drawing on my lap.Then, I dropped it off the couch, and broke a piece off the corner. Only positive is the clamp that holds the paper on the clip board. Poorly made!
