The grass is growing in a very tough area. Grass seems well-rooted in an area that we have been unsuccessful with in the past.

I've purchased before from Outsidepride, and they really do put out a good product. The grass seed I purchased (this one and Supranova) both took really nicely. The only problem is it's so expensive! LOL

Seeds look healthy, however, I pre-sprouted these for three days before sowing and I had a low germination rate. I plan to direct sow in the fall when it’s cooler.

I read some of the bad reviews before I bought this grass seed, but chose to go with the good reviews and make the purchase. We planted in late April 2025. We had soil delivered so it was a complete seeding. It was watered everyday until seed germination. This took 2 weeks. The blades were tiny and just never seemed to mature, but the grass finally got a beautiful green and looked alright. It never got thick. We continued to water the grass when it got dry, but it still began to turn yellow and then brown. It is now July and the grass is pretty much dry and dead. I would not buy this seed again. Unsure if user error or not, bought this for my father who was just trying to fix up the grass. It came up okay, but did not last. Died withing 3 months.

rip off.. roughly 1.7 pounds of the 5 pound bag is inert material That is material that does not grow,plus a small percentage of weed material I give it two stars because the 3 pounds or so of grass seed was new

I had high hopes for this grass seed, especially with all the claims about "dense turf" and performance in high traffic areas. Unfortunately, this product did not deliver. after several weeks, the germination was patchy and sparse. I ended up with more bare spots than grass, and what did grow was thin and weak. It definitely doesn’t create the “dense turf” they advertise unless you massively over-seed — which defeats the purpose of buying a premium blend like this. For the price, I expected far better coverage and performance. Very disappointed and won’t be buying again.
