Good size
Easy to use, creates a good amount without having leftover and not know how to store the rest. Good expansion brings texture to your potting soil.

Works great
This stuff does really good. I use it for mixing in with my substrate for my natural aquariums.

Coconut husk soil
I have bought several of these for potting my indoor plants. So far most of the plants are enjoying their new soil. The one that is struggling is the aloe vera. Perhaps the soil retains too much moisture at the root. It’s so much easier to handle as when it arrives it is very light. It's not until you put it in a plastic bag to expand it that it gets heavy so I can carry it to the planting table and add the water at that point close at hand. Will keep buying it as long as the plants thrive. The process to make it must be laborious because the price is too high.

This stuff is awesome
At first I was frustrated with this soil because it didn’t seem to dissolve well until I broke it up and added hot water (I don’t think my water was warm enough) but I got it to absorb the water and used it to repot this cilantro and it has done wonders! Before it was all drooping like in the front and after 3 DAYS in the new soil, look at how happy it is!! This stuff is cheap and awesome. Don’t hesitate! Just be patient with the absorbing of water or use hot water and break it up into pieces. Happy gardening!

Ingenious
When I want to replace the substrate in my reptile habitats, I don't feel like soaking a whole brick of coconut. I found this, and I'm impressed! I didn't read the description fully, and when I read the instructions I was flabbergasted. Why didn't I think of this!?! Pour water in the plastic bag the small brick came in, and vwallah! No cleaning out buckets or bowls afterwards!

Way more than I thought
I got way more soil than I thought I would and had about half left over from a 4 inch pot, I would recommend using more water than you think you need(I used 1 and a half water bottles). Overall it’s rlly good for the price and very beginner friendly.

Possibly enough for one small pot..?
If you just want a cup full - This is your purchase, but I didn't open it when I saw it was smaller than the size of a playing card.

So much fun planting seeds
Using this expanding soil was the coolest thing I’ve done in a long time. I was inside my sunroom working on a gardening mat. I placed the plastic container with the block of compacted dried soil. I added water and voila it started expanding. And I added more water until the hard square disc turned into rich dark fluffy soil. It was so much of an instant gratification for me. I can’t wait to see my seeds bud into baby plants. This soil exceeded my expectations immensely. I already ordered more so I can plant 21 more pots. I will post photos once these sprout. I’m growing them in the sunrise and will transplant them outside at a later stage.
