Great key hider!
For years i always used one of those magnetic key hiders that can fall off. About 15 years ago I discovered one of these in a locksmith shop and have used one on my cars since. The key hider consists of a patch of velcro that has sticky back on it- It will adhere to any clean surface (this is important). The other part is a small nylon pocket that has a fold over closure with velcro on it to seal it. I have never lost a key using this system. For the money and the amount of security it provides I say this is a good value. PS- don put this up in sight of your neighbors unless you really trust them-I'm just saying.

Lightyears better than the magnetic boxes
This thing is incredible, and easy to use. Unlike the magnetic boxes, you can stick this anywhere on your vehicle, which is nice. Also, I feel confident that its not going anywhere, which is a feeling those magnetic boxes never gave me. Plus, its less than $10, which is essentially the frosting on the cake at this point. Dont hesitate to buy this thing; its worth every penny!

The only one we could find to hold a modern key
This was the only product we could find to hold a car key with buttons. We had a sudden change of who could pick up who from the airport and who had a key so this little guy was a life saver.

Great, inexpensive product
After blacking out the neon green writing with a Sharpie, I stuck it in the car grill. Once it’s stuck, it WON’T come off, which is great. However, make sure you place it somewhere with enough space to get your whole hand in, as it’s super hard to pull apart the Velcro. Trying to get it off with just my thumb & forefinger didn’t do it and I had to use needle nose pliers. That being said, I’m ordering another to put in a better place. Unlike the magnet boxes, there’s nothing to rust and no way it could be knocked off if it gets hit by something, and it’s big enough to fit my fob.

Decent but doesn't actually adhere
This does the job, mostly. It has more than enough room for a large key and absolutely dwarfs a house key. There's definitely room to spare and you could fit in a fob as well as a key and then some. You could easily fit in a car key with a fob and a house key if so desired. I found the adhesive to be less successful. I tried it on various surfaces and it doesn't stick very well. I'm sure it would work great against fabric but anything outdoors doesn't work. It usually clings for a few minutes then falls off. Due to the graphic on the other side that says "key holder" it's not exactly a secret. So you'll want to hide it somewhere that can't be seen. The lack of good adhesive compounds that problem. However I find it protects the key very well and with some work I find a great place to hide it so the graphic is hidden. It's durable and well made, if thin, and does mostly what I bought it for. I wish it actually -stuck- somewhere but I can live with it.

great hide-a-key pouch for auto
I like to keep a spare key for my car hidden underneath, so that if I lock myself out I can get in immediately. Doesn't happen often, but once is enough.Over the past several years, I have tried using several magnetic key holders, but they just don't have enough holding power for today's potholes and speed bumps - and they bounce off somewhere. My car does not have a layer of rust-proofing, either.I have a loop-and-hook (also called Velcro) key holder on another car, and it has never come off in 15 years. But, when I went looking for another stick-on holder, I was surprised that I couldn't find one in any of the local auto parts stores, hardware stores, or Lowes. What's up with that?Next I turned to Amazon, my favorite online retailer. Well, this Hide-A-Key holder showed up in my search and appeared to be exactly what I wanted. The price is great, too. The magnetic holders are usually in the $5 range, and this was half the price. It arrived quickly, and it was exactly as described. What you don't see in the description is the size of the flat part with the sticky side. I can report that it is about 2 inches by 3 inches, almost the entire size of the pouch itself. Very sticky, too. And the loops hold very tightly to the hooks, for a secure attachment that I do not expect to come loose.

A good item if used for the right application
A couple of things. The good: If you need this to hide a key to get into your house, this provides more hiding flexibility than the phony rocks, thermometers and the like (I also wonder if thieves don't know some of these by sight). I was able to attach this under an outdoor ground lighting controller that is mostly protected from the elements (under deck stairs). As an FYI, I used to use one of those hide-a-key rocks. Try getting to that when there is a foot of snow and ice encasing it. This can go just about anywhere. The bad: Having a prominent logo with a key on it is hardly conducive to hiding anything! Would be easy to magic marker or black tape over it of course if that is an issue for you. Reading some of the negative reviews, I would never in a million years expect this to stay under a car body. The adhesive is way too weak for that.
