Would have given it 5 stars all the way,, seems like the volume is kind of low, wish I could turn it up just a tad. This adapter is sturdy, exactly as described with very fast shipping. A bargain for the price.

Thanks for reading other Amazon reviews I quickly realized that the headset I was ordering to use with my LG phone would not fir the connector from the headset to the size port on my phone. So great to have reviews to get additional info. So thanks to all the reviews on the headset, I ordered this so that I could actually attached and hook up the phone headset and use it with my cell phone. It was a perfect fit and thankfully arrived the same day as the headset I had ordered, so it was just perfect timing and a perfect fit. The headphone would have been completely useless without this item! There is no static, or disturbance on the line and is as clear as a bell when talking on the phone. I did order this one that has 3 black lines, as I'd read that it is a superior quality! It is! You will not be disappointed! Just order the best and you will be happy with this product!

I have been trying to find a 2.5 to 3.5 headset adapter for my Samsung Galaxy S3, with a 3-pole male side. Tried a different brand and they could hear me but I could not hear them. From comments and specs I thought this would work - and I can hear the other party and they can hear me, but the audio on my end is atrocious. Even the "ring" sound when I am placing the call sounds like dropping marbles on wood. So possibly the specs don't work for my phone. The one I have used for past 5 years that has great quality I got from Radio Shack (but they are gone) and the wiring is beginning to fray a bit where it goes into the little rubber end. It does work better if I plug it into my laptop and use it with VOIP, but people I call say I soung better on speadkerphone than using the adapter with the laptop. It may be a matter of specs - the Headset Buddy listing on Amazon lists phones it is compatible with and someone had good luck with the Galaxy 5 to I gave it a try. Just must not be compatible with the Galaxy 3.

When I went to try this I was really wanting it to work but as the phone was ringing, I could hear the crackle in the ring. Reception on my end was also crackly. The person I called said the sound quality was OK but not great. Can't someone make a corded headset or an adapter that works with a Samsung Galaxy?

Adapter works perfectly with my Droid Razr Max and GE headset and also works perfectly with my Panasonic and Plantronics headsets and same phone. I have headsets in different locations (home, office, etc.). I only gave 4 stars as I just bought the adapter and consequently can't speak to its durability. Several other reviewers noted problems with adapters purchased from other sellers. In light of those comments in addition to this adapter, I bought a less expensive adapter from another seller at the same time I bought this adapter. The other adapter did not work at all with any of the headsets - didn't even get static. It hit the garbage the day it arrived. In view of my experience, I just ordered two more headset buddies to have one for each headset. I believe that, more than any statement I make, demonstrates my view of the product.

I now carry around an iPhone 5. Yet, I still love using Plantronics mono headsets. This little adapter enables me to use those superior fitting and sounding headsets. You will have to replace them occasionally if/when the sound goes out due to them continually getting yanked out of the phone itself, but it is very dependable and works as advertised to provide a great connection. Your clients will comment just how strong your voice and connection is when you use this product. Nothing hurts your business more than not having a good solid wireless connection to speak to your clients clearly. Don't settle for another inferior product sold by a competitor. Only settle for the Headset Buddy sold by Longtail Products on Amazon.

I was concerned that this might not work properly. I have an Etymolic Research Ety Com headset that has a 2.5 mm plug. I used it with my telephones in the past but with newer cell phones that have 4 conductor 3.5 mm connectors, I needed an adapter. I have parts that I ordered to make my own adapter but was not sure how to combine the left and right audio output without damaging he telephone. I also did not know the pin-out and was not anxious to damage the headset or the phone. This adapter worked perfectly and I can now use my headset again. I like a wired headset much beter than the BlueTooth headsets for several reasons. The headset is lighter overall. The sound quality is better in my experience. There is no compression or expansion in the audio - just the same sound that's pretty much un-colored. There's also the advantage of not having to charge the headphones and the ability to use them immediately with any phone. You just have to plug it in. When you answer a call and realize you want to use the headset, you can plug it in between sentences and there's not waiting or playing with settings on the phone.

Works great!! I use it in a noisy work environment with a good headset instead using the speakerphone option. I wish the plug was right-angle instead of straight. I'm always concerned that I might catch it on something and damage my phone. Although I've been using this adapter for quite a while and so far so good.

Habe diesen Adapter für Xbox 360 Headset X41 bestellt, da Original Audiochatkabel von Xbox 360 zu PS4 Controller nicht passte, mit diesem Adapter 2,5mm auf 3.5mm hat alles funktioniert, alle Funktionen an Chatkabel lassen sich genauso bedienen! Wer sein altes Headset behalten will, wird mit diesem Adapter zufrieden sein:-)

Exactly as advertised. I use this adapter so I can use a headset intended for a cordless landline with my cell phone. It's great quality. The sound is good and it takes years before wearing out (on my second one now), which is important because the cable gets a lot of twisting and stress.

Item arrived quickly and was well packaged. Didn't work on my iphone 6 or iphone 4s with my old headset. No problem with the quality of the item. It just wasn't the right connection. It may work with other types of headsets.

This adapter works well with my Iphone4 and my wife's galaxy s3. It does not work with the galaxy s4. I may in fact work for all other smartphones, but you should not buy if for a galaxy s4.
