Another great ACIM library addition.
Wapnick is always great.Interesting how Freud, Jung, Nietche are compared. Not a big or long book...but the content is huge.

Never knew the real teachings of Nietzsche before, now Kenneth Wapnick shows me my spiritual journey in another Way
So I had only ever seen a short biography about the famous philosopher Nietzshe on tv and did not come away with much respect for the man. Now, here I picked up this book by the late Kenneth Wapnick, extraordinary teacher of A Course in Miracles, shortly after news of his passing, as the title jumped out at me. That Ken uses a very misunderstood and misinterpreted man's true teachings in a short essay from his work, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, is a real eye-opener: both about the true teachings of Nietzsche as well as an integrated basis of an explanation of one's spiritual journey. Ken's works have often confused and baffled me. But this time, I was ready to hear what I was not ready to hear or even look at before this moment. I would recommend this book to the Course student who is looking for more clarity about spiritual journeying as well as a broad painting of the key messages in ACIM. I took my time reading it. Like all Course study, it does do a great service to study and ponder all of what is written in a respectful, timely fashion. I came away with more peace in accepting where I am in my current path. So valuable in a study where comparisons to fellow students is rife, but not helpful.

Extremely helpful for ACIM Students to go deeper with the Course
Like all of Ken Wapnick's commentaries and teachings on A Course In Miracles this is brilliant. He helps the reader understand three key stages of our life journey towards spiritually awakening, drawing on the principles of the Course but also using insights from Nietzche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra--more specifically the section 'On the Three Metamorphoses' ---moving from the symbolic stages of the camel, to the stage of the lion, and finally the child (of understanding our innocence and Oneness with God). This is beautifully written, profound, and I found it so very helpful to keep me motivated on the path. I highly recommend it.

Another winner from Mr. Wapnick...
I can never say enough about the books written by Ken Wapnick. His books and the Gary Renard books have helped so much with both my understanding and the application of the principles as taught in A Course in Miracles. He is always consistent and sticks to the teachings, which has not been the case in some of the other ACIM "support" books I have read, which mean well but sometimes fail to stick to the teachings. Ken Wapnick is clear and precise. You can never go wrong in selecting any one of the Ken Wapnick materials. I believe I have read them all and each one reinforces the profound teachings of ACIM while at the same time provides a new way to look at the teachings in order to absorb them more deeply. This book in particular is in-depth and focuses on the obstacles to peace...a slow read only because its not a book to breeze through but to be ruminated upon, taken to heart, and applied to the classroom of our lives.

Confirmation of ACIM Authenticity For Spiritual Journeyers
Dr. Wapnick's books onย A Course In Miracles ย are small in size but gigantic in understanding and eloquence. I was up until 2 AM last night reading this book and still didn't want to go to bed because I had finally discovered the quality of wisdom he easily explains. ACIM is the most spiritually profound book that I've ever read and tried to truly understand and I've literally read hundreds. One benefit from this is that I'm realizing more and more the interconnectedness of all human knowledge. What ACIM teaches is nothing I would have ever predicted. As a youngster, I was always intrigued by the notion of "secret teachings" reserved for those ready to attempt them. If you are at that stage of humility (and I waffle in and out constantly), I can't recommend ACIM and Dr. Wapnick (a close friend of the ACIM "authors" btw) enough.

Very hard to understand in some parts.
I did not like this book because it is very repetitive and over-complicated. I had to force myself to read many parts of this book, a simple explanations could also have been used here. The complicated explanations of the text plus zaratustra equals a hard read.

Kenneth strips us so we can hear ourselves again.
Being new to A Course in Miracles, it is very helpful to hear the changes in awareness that others have experienced from doing the course. When it is spelled out like this, it is no other than what we already have known- beyond the stories we make up and get caught up in as we fill the gaps. It is refreshing to hear it plain and simple again without the stories we live in day in and day out. There are answers hidden inside of us and Kenneth gets us there.

clarification
I have never read Nietche before and it's great to be introduced to a piece of his work with the interpretation of Dr. Kenneth Wapnick ( the greatest course in miracles teacher in the world)

Five Stars
It picks up where Nietzsche's left off in Zarathustra and finishes it.
