exFAt formatted, not NTFS
Very small. Very short (8"?)cable included. Great box. It's exFAT format, but Windows 10 required NTFS and only formats about 1/4 to 1/3 of the drive when formatted. SO backup/recovery files can only be saved to small part of it. Windows file explorer doesn't even "see" the remaining 90 Gb or so! Oddly System info page DOES see the whole 120Gb (probably doesn't care part of it must still be exFAT format). Supposedly USB 3.0 but took an hour to finally back up my PC. Windows 10 backup, recovery, AND system image save programs have failed on a newer laptop and a new PC now. I suspect they want to sell you a new Windows 10 O/S every time you have a system crash. I ended up using the recovery back up program that came with an external optical drive I got from Amazon previously. SO have an LARGE external drive of some sort available for backups, especially that 1st startup of a system. You may never get all your programs, drivers, files recovered when problems crop up otherwise. The time and money it will take to get it back makes the purchase of an external drive such as a large capacity USB thumbdrive, hard drive, or even optical disc burner very worth it.
