The car is of reasonable build quality. The battery door is a little fiddly without a captive screw. The remote control is for adult size hands, though small kids seem to manage ok.The main problem however is the quality of the included battery packs. They only last 5 mins max and that's if they work at all. Only one battery pack out of four would actually move the car when fully charged. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately I think mine was defective as I placed batteries in worked for moment thought batteries was the issue fresh new batteries in still same issue no connection to the wheels to move other then that great looking item

The media could not be loaded. This is a fun little toy RC car. Whilst it's not up there with the spec of a professional one, there are some similarities, such as the full size transmitter. This requires 4 X AA batteries, as with a professional controller, so should have a fairly good range to it.The car itself looks good and is built well. It'll handle a few knocks and drops with ease.The front suspension has quite a good level of travel on it, with a beam suspension on the back. This makes it good for jumping, etcThere are 2 batteries included, which charge via USB. You can recharge one whilst using the other. They're 7.5v each.Speed isn't as impressive as I thought it would be. For a toy car though, a small child should be impressed with it. Speed on the controller is proportional, so you can drive it quite slowly whilst learning. It grips quite well outdoors, but does struggle on laminate due to the light weight of it.Overall, this is a good little toy for kids. It's a great introductory vehicle to the world of RC cars and could lead to more professional ones in the future as your child grows.

This high speed remote control car is fantastic and is extremely fast for its size. Its incredible how quickly technology has developed over the last few few years. We could only dream of cars like this when we kids. This comes with a couple of 7.4V lithium batteries which are fully insulated and use the standard connecter these cars seem to use. I'm sorry I'm not clued up with all the different connecters RC toys use but the package does come with a USB to 7.4V charging cable which charges the batteries back up fairly quickly if using a 2A USB source such as a power bank. The remote is easy to use and has decent range so perfect to use in a small to mid sized garden. We've had great fun with this over the past few months by putting obsticles in the way such as a small wellington boot, a few small bits of wood, etc to see how the car handles uneven surfaces and it works like a champ it flips over small obsticles I've put in the way and just keeps on going. If you haven't used remote control cars recently, steering can be a bit fiddly but you soon get the hang of it. The remote takes a couple of AA batteries which will last for weeks so whats not to like? highly recommended.

Charge the battery for 2 hours and it lasts 10 minutes every time. Car would be good if it wasn’t for that but the battery is shocking

The car itself and controls are great but are badly let down by rubbish battery life
