Loved the smell and the shade very much

I purchased 226 Mise A Nu (intimatte) and so happy with it. Perfect everyday shade - deep rose. Love this formula. Stays on but doesn’t dry out or crack at all!

It is a nice lipstick. I did not find it too drying on my lips. But it is not as long wearing as some of the other brands. I tend to apply more than one layer to get some more wear out of it. This particular shade looks good on fair to medium skin tones. I’m happy with my buy!

I find that this lipstick has a matte looking finish. I have never met a matte lipstick that actually hydrates my lips. I don't feel that this lipstick hydrates any more than any other I have tried, but it definitely does not dry them out like some do. The color is beautiful, and it lasts me most of the day. Overall an excellent lipstick, although definitely on the pricier side.

I'm always on the lookout for good, everyday lip shades. Shade 226 Mise A Nu is described as a "cool pink mauve," and I think that's fairly accurate, although the mauve means there are some brown tones, making it a bit warmer. I took photos in different lights for comparison. The lipstick feels nice going on and had decent staying power, but I found it a bit drying. One interesting thing is that the lipstick case locks closed - you have to press in on one side in order to get it to pop open. This might be good for someone who carries around lipstick in their purse (so it won't accidentally open), but for me it was a bit of a gimmick.
