Can this be used in a bathroom

I don’t think so. I have the small version in my separate toilet but went for the Struana in the bathroom. You still must have a pull cord on-off switch (or external) but can safely have the hue remote switch on the wall in the bathroom as it’s not wired in. It’s excellent as you can set 5 options on the switch or make full use of the phone app.

can you wire this in an std UK house with only 2 x wires to connect into the power supply in the ceiling?

There should be an earth in the ceiling rose.

Didn't notice it wasn't a colour until after drilling concrete. Is there same model in colour?

Mine changes colour at the pree of a button.

Is this double insulated? An electrician won’t install it if isn’t as we don’t have an earth wire

I’m not sure. Certainly we did not have any installation issues
