Royal Industries4" x 4" Heavy-Duty Box Grater

This Box Grater is high on my list of essential kitchen tools. Makes shredding cabbage for coleslaw a breeze so it is very sharp. I also use it to grate frozen butter for biscuits (solves the problem of cutting butter into the flour to 'pea size.') I use it so often that it is normally in the dishwasher when I need it, so I bought a 2nd one. The quality is good and for as often as I use them and put them through the dishwasher over several years, they still look shiny and new - no rust.

I needed a new grater and liked that this did not have extra plastic parts to break, like my old grater. This is very sharp and cleaned up easily. It does give a bit but was simple to hold over the fry pan and grate cheese onto the eggs. If it did get bent it could be straightened easily. Was well worth the cost, simple design that functions very well.

What a relief to buy something that claims to be "heavy duty" to find that it TRULY IS! I like this one better than the ancient one I have had for decades....that has held up fabulously but, being older than ME, has finally started to give. This new one really IS hefty. I think it can handle me and my cole slaw! Highly recommended

I grate a lot of tubers, roots and such. Regular graters get all bendy but this one hangs in there with even the tough stuff. Haven't tried, but you could probably grate a good pair of work boots with this thing.

Laughably flimsy and full of sharp unfinished corners. An actual health hazard.

I am was worried this would break and be flimsy. It is very sturdy and wonderful

This thing is odd shaped and unbalanced. Very poor workmanship!

Works perfectly. An excellent design - STURDY too.
