Multifocus Reading Glasses with Blue Blocker
I am an Optician. I like these multi focal readers. They are great for the computer and reading. At first I was fooled by the word Transition which is the name of lenses that turn dark when you go outside. These are actually progressive lenses that have no Rx for distance (top of lens), but gives you a gradual increase to reading in the bottom of the lens. It is not a bifocal. And to add a plus; this is advertised as a blue blocker lens which blocks out harmful blue rays that may come off your computer screen and may be harmful to your eyes.

Top of lense had magnification. Needed it to be none
I’m sure the glasses would have been great but the top of the glasses had a dull magnification on it and I need them to be without. Had to return because of that

Great concept. Poor application
I was so excited when I saw these. I spend my day swapping between .75, 1.0, (computer screens) 1.25 and 1.50 (on the work floor, First Aid applications). I also use a 2.50 for tiny work but I don't wear them regularly. I'm an EH&S manager so I'm always changing safety glasses depending on the situation with which I have to contend and most of my glasses are ANZI diopters. I thought these might be perfect for office work. These are so close but the focal length is strange. I ordered the 1.5's thinking the 1.5 would be on the bottom and digress as your eyes moved up the lens. The top part of the glasses is about a .5. I'm not sure what the middle is but I suspect it's supposed to be somewhere between a .75 to and 1. I find myself nodding up-and-down and moving back-and-forth trying to find the prefect spot for what I am doing. Even still, I can't seem to get a clear picture and the computer font can look doubled.I'm typing on my PC now (obviously) and I've just reverted back to my trusty, basic 1.0's, positioned close to the end of my nose and do the over-the-top-of-the-fame-peek when someone comes to the door.

Best reading glasses in the world!
The media could not be loaded. These really are the best multi Focus readers there are being a progressive lens but when I look to the middle while sitting at my computer it is the best thing ever and they work better than my prescription glasses that cost $500 these truly are a specific focal length glass for my old eyes and they are perfect for reading up close or seeing stuff at an arm's length or slightly Beyond nothing is better t h a n Foster Grant multi Focus readers!

Stylish Glasses BUT....
Sadly, I returned the glasses for a few reasons. They were a little small looking on me needed them to be just a little wider but I did loved the look of these glasses, very stylish. The top distance part of the glasses was a little blurry for me. Plus this is the second time trying blue light glasses and not sure how I feel about them. Definitely can tell they are blue light just holding them. The glare on them is a blue hue, that could be why they appeared a little blurry on the top distance part. And I could tell that they would give me a headache after a while.

So much better than regular readers
I really love using these, as compared to regular readers. When I'm wearing these I can do close work and see the TV, all without having to remove my glasses. The only thing I can't really understand is why there's any magnification at all on the top section. When using the 1.50 it's light enough that it doesn't bother me, but when I use a 1.75 I really have to take them off for distance. Such a bummer! The first few pair I ordered did not have any tint to them, which I really like. This last pair I ordered does have a slight amber tint which I find annoying. Still, I really love using these transition-style lens. Please consider making the same thing with zero magnification on the top section!

Simple head tilt brings it ALL into focus!
These are the best solution for my Far-sighted eyes. While wearing the glasses, I NO LONGER must put on reading glasses for small print; NOR must I strain to see my computer screen at an intermediate distance; NOR must I peer over the top of my readers' frame to see the TV across the room as the top portion is plain glass for clearly seeing at a distance. As a real PLUS, they also have a slight yellow tint to help block blue light from those same screens, fluorescent lights, or plain old sunshine.I actually would have happily paid $15 a piece for these quality progressive readers, but to get 3 pair for $15 is a really great bargain. These are 5-star all the way.

You get what you pay for.
Unfortunately, like other reviews, the upper portion is not clear and distorts your vision if magnification is not needed for distance. The the middle magnification is decent, the lowest “reader” level is good. The frames are adorable and I took a pair to the optometrist to hopefully use for prescription glasses. First of all, she said the frames are “dollar store quality”, lol. She also said that the 2 lenses each had different magnification levels, and that there were 2 left lenses. Apparently the lenses are supposed to be flipped, like mirror images of each other instead of identical….not sure if I’m understanding it properly, but the bottom line is that if you need this level of correction you’d be wise to have a professional exam and prescription. So disappointed about the frames though…very cute.
