The KingCamp multipurpose tent is great for camping. Spacious inner space is perfect for 4-6 people to have a rest, and with over 6.5 inches of headroom you can stand up in the tent. With the flysheet and inner together, you can use this tent as a ground camping tent outdoor. Because of the removable inner that allows you use the flysheet alone as a canopy under the sunshine. Three doors and multi-position mesh windows is good for great cross ventilation, convenient access and pleasant view and the tent is breathable to keep the inside dry and comfortable.

What I wish I knew before I bought (BUYERS BEWARE!!)
Finally got a chance to try this out this weekend, wish I would have had a chance sooner as I missed the return window by two days. Important things to note before you too buy one of these (which I would not recommend). You better have 2 people to set this up, 3 might be ideal. You might be able to eventually set it up alone with some practice but it tends to want to fall over until you have all the poles in and lines staked. As many have mentioned, the directions are minimal so you really have to figure it out yourself. This is basically a 2-piece tent; an outer shell and then an interior shell that you have to insert and attach. I think you could probably leave this together once you get it set up the first time but is another thing I wish I had known prior to buying myself. The way the insert hooks up to the outer shell puts stress on the fabric and I doubt will hold up to extended use. I can't believe the reviews saying this is well made. Not only did I find zippers had pulled apart, they are plastic crap and feel cheesy. These will not last. You can also see gaps in the seams when the poles are inserted and the material is stretched so I can't imagine it won't let a little rain through eventually. The poles themselves seem sturdy enough but they are the type that are held together with springs and 2 were already stretched out (think slinky that has been pulled too far to go back to the original shape). The fabric everywhere but the floors is very thin and doesn't feel like it will last but we shall see.I have spent $1000s on camping equipment over the years and can't remember being more disappointed with a purchase. I generally tend to like to get my hands on things before I buy when possible, but this is an item you don't see at your local sporting goods store so took a shot. So, I blame myself for breaking my own rules and buying "blind". The wasted $500 will be a good reminder!I have a couple more trips planned this year so if things change, and I feel better about the quality, ease of use, etc. I will update the review/rating. But, right now I am making sure I have a backup tent packed in the Jeep as I have a feeling I am going to need it.

Very nice roomy
HugeA little hard to set upThe instructions are not the bestAttach to vehicle firstLay out floor snugglyRemember that the thing that looks like another tent hangs by attaching it to the roof from the insideI set it up in the yard first to figure it outNot a one person operation in my opinionI use it for a Ford Expedition

Great find but with key design flaws
This tent checks most the boxes for what I needed in a car tent. Roomy, large, tall, with great ventilation and a sturdy design. Priced well and designed to stay dry and safe from the elements..the only downside; and this almost makes everything else not matter, is the unsecured gap between the main tent and the tailgate enclosure! This is the reason I bought this product and it did not answer my need to securely connect the tent to the car..and the zippers from main tent to vessel are not in synchronized. One opens right to left and the other left to right so you can’t have both half open. I am very disappointed. I may try to figure out some kinda modification, like small clips along the two seams...or return...not sure yet.

disappointed, very disappointed....
what a hot mess!! instructions? what instructions??!! and you need to have the right SUV/ MINI VAN to connect the bottom correctly... it didn't fit my van so there was no way to secure it completely at the base. its cheaply made, tabs pulled right off. I was so worried about ripping the zippers. SOOOO MANY FREAKING ZIPPERS IN THIS THING!On top of all of these disappointments the cover for the ground was never used because 6 adults couldn't even figure out how to put it down!! CRAZY!! Its a great idea, but not engineered very well at all! <tried to use it 4 different times, still 👎. >

Large awning with seamless attachment to vehicle with a hanging tent attachment for inside awning.
I like the space it provides as well as the shade. It was fairly easy to put up with 2-3 people. Not sure I could have done so alone. I didn't like the inaccurate description of a seamless connection from vehicle to tent. It is seamless to the awning structure that the tent hangs to from inside. The awning portion is completely attached to car, the tent requires the awning but doesn't directly attach to the vehicle, & thus vehicle & tent must be closed to prevent bugs entering either.

Great size, quality material, instructions terrible
It is a great size and love the concept for an alternative to pulling our travel trailer; however, the instructions are not clear and I am still unclear as to whether the tent is supposed to be waterproof and bug proof while the hatch of the car is open. Customer service has not been too stellar - they respond timely; however, not very informatively or exactly providing response to the question asked.

Well worth the money
First time out we used this on a trip to Florida. Actually ended up using it freestanding as well as hooked to the suv. It rained almost every day we were there and even had some severe storms one night. There were a couple of minor leaks(none in the vicinity of the vehicle attachment area) but overall we were very pleased. We will be retaping seams but this is a minor concern and something we have actually done with most tents we have used in the past.

Very sturdy construction
I would've given this a 5 star review if it came with better instructions. Inside the bag is a tag showing the tent being assembled in 4 steps. It was laughable. I couldn't find any directions on their website or any YouTube videos. This was the first time I set it up. I'm just glad it was in my backyard and not being laughed at at a campground. Of course I'm going to have many many years of practice because it's made to last. It's very sturdy and I love the awnings. You're going to love it.
