Comfortable!
I ordered half a size up after reading a couple of the comments, and I absolutely love these! I immediately noticed the comfort and how lightweight they are. These are definitely going to be my every day shoe now.

My third pair
I've been using these shoes for 3 years now. I walk ~18-20k steps a day, only on turf, never on stone or pavement. They last just over a year before falling apart, and I figure I have got my $30 worth, Well over! This pair, which appears identical in every way to my previous 2, is, in fact, a bit smaller. The size markings are identical, (Size 8/40), but the wide toe box, which is the reason I like them so much, appears to be lacking in these. They are not so tight that they hurt my feet, but they certainly don't leave any 'wiggle room'.Since it was pouring rain the first time I wore them, they have been completely soaked and aren't fit to return. My hope is that they will stretch over time. The material seems like it could do that, especially when wet. We'll see. Meantime, I recommend you try them first before taking them out in the mud, even if you have had some previously!

Runs about a size large, crazy comfortable!
I have a similar pair of these from another manufacturer, but they were having supply issues so I tried this brand instead. I actually think these are superior - the material is thicker and the shoe overall is just better made. But they do run a bit large - I ordered a size down from the size chart shown here, and they're still about 1/2 size too big. Not enough for me to return them, but enough that next time I'll try a size even further down. So my suggestion is order at least a size down from what is indicated on the chart. Also, I changed the laces out, from the elastic thingees to standard shoe laces, which greatly improved both fit and style. All that said, these are just insanely comfortable - I actually smile every time I put them on - it feels like putting on my feet, they feel that much an extension of my feet, like shoes should feel.

Just when i thought these were gunna be sh*tty, they surprised me with the opposite.
I bought these on a whim and was anticipating them to be of expired manure quality, specially since I have been experiencing so many sh*tty products from "amazon's third party small-village-living-room-made-brand products from random people going on a manufacturing adventure. But these actually ended up being pretty legit. I use them for back flips on grass to prevent hurting my foot with sharp objects or needles left by crackheads at the park, lol. These feel great and help to still develop barefoot agility and strength eventhough the sole is quite thick. The only downside I guess, is that my right foot sort of wants to roll "inwards" from off the sole, so I have to constantly move it the other way.

Perfect for mud runs
I ran a spartan sprint race in these and I was absolutely satisfied with how well they held up. I didn’t need socks with them either. Running on rocky and muddy terrain I didn’t slide and there was great protection from the sharp rocks. Will definitely be getting a second pair!
