PHILTOP ACF055 (CF10139) Cabin Air Filter, Replacement for TC (2005-2010), XA (2004-2006), XB (2004-2006), Echo (2000-2005), RAV4 (2001-2005)

I bought two other filters that said they would fit my vehicle and they did not. This is second purchase of this filter. Perfect fit both times. Easy to install (even as a girl if you watch a few YouTube videos). Seems good quality and does its job.

This filter was easy to install and much cheaper, of course, than paying for one at an oil change or auto service shop. It fit my car as it claimed it would.

I installed this good quality cabin filter in my 2016 Nissan Rogue today.It appears to be well constructed with a firm edge layer at the top and bottom, where the airflow arrow is printed. A bit softer at the pleated area and that's where it crushed a bit getting it installed.The dirty OEM Nissan filter I removed, with some degree of difficulty, had a vinyl feel to it where this is more fiber weave, slightly more flexible.It was a bit of a struggle to settle the filter into the very tight construct of the filter cabinet, ridiculously placed by the engineers behind and below the center vents, left of glove box.I hope I didn't "accordion" the filter pleats sections a lot, reducing its operating performance, as I had to bend it a bit to push it into its housing. Not much else you can do to settle it in.Would buy it again when needed for this SUV.

This fits tightly on a 2015 BMW 3 series and the airflow is clearly indicated. However, the frame running all around the filter lacks flexibility. It delaminated completely in a couple of places while gently bending the filter to fit in the curved air compartment. I cannot judge how much, if at all, it affects the filter performance or longevity.

Fairly easy to replace. Does not just slid out of the glovebox or anything and does require getting under the dash a bit, but went oriented properly slides right in. Price is right!
