Don't make my mistake! This plugs into a Zamp SOLAR PANEL
The plug fits a Zamp solar panel, NOT the Zamp roof or sidewall pass through gland. The MC4 connectors allow you to connect other panels in parallel. If you use non-Zamp panels the you will also need a polarity reversal plug. Right plug; wrong “Zamp solar ready” port.
It was a let down when I went to make a connection between my MC4’s and the Zamp inlet connector on my RV. Big problem. The plug has a flange to go over the RV connection port which does say Zamp ready. Unfortunately, its designed to go into the receptacle. I thought that I had made a mistake by ordering the wrong adapter. Looking on their website, this is the only one offered. My only solution was to trim the flange back enabling the plug to be inserted into the receptacle.
