Montane Mens Terra Pants RRP £90

It has taken many years to find some trousers for outdoor wear that tick all the boxes. To start with, leg length is always an issue - too long or too short. Perhaps embarrassingly the space between top of the inner leg and buttons often seems to be too short. The rigidity of a lot of trousers has made for some unfortunate tearing as I've been clambering rocks or crouched down for some macro photography. I'm neither skinny nor overweight, but apparently that means I am in no man's land in clothing terms.These Montane Terra Pants manage to avoid all of the issues! The length is ideal, the waist is spot on and the belt actually keeps the trousers up. The material is thin and light but hardwearing where it matters. The material also stretches to acommodate outdoor activities and you never feel like you are being restricted. Zips on each leg keep the air flowing. Pockets are generous. Some people might not like that this item isn't slim fit, but when you need to easily move I find a little bagginess makes the activity much more comfortable.Worth paying a little more for - I've gone through several pairs totalling far more than the cost of these, when these would have done just fine in the first place.

Great fit (m) I am 12st 05lb and 5”9. Third pair of these, very very durable trousers. Nice and comfy and just great hiking trousers. Look good up a hill and are very fast drying. To be honest I wear them all the time. Nice vented sides for hot days and zipped pockets so you can’t lose bits and bobs. This colour (Inca Gold) is GOLD!!!!!! There is no way mountain rescue could miss you with these babies on so that’s a plus as well. I love them.

Very light and, mostly, comfortable. Sizing is slightly on the small size and leg length (R) is quite long. Very good for the money.

I liked them so much got extra pair. The vent is great for summer and the fastening feature on the hem is a good idea for tight fit around your boots. Keeps the tics out.

These trousers are excellent for me. Lightweight and rugged. Good pocket space all with zips. Elasticated waist and belt are great. Zips on the lower leg make it easy to remove trousers with shoes on. I paid £49 7/2023.

Light , great for summer hikes, you dont overheat amd the pockets are great

Great price so I ordered a second pair. Only thing, they are £30 more in black which is odd.
