Fits well; Functions great!
I have thick ankles and calves due to chronic inflammation, as well as early-onset osteoarthritis in my right ankle (multiple sprains during an active life). This brace adjusts to fit my foot, ankle, and calf - it ties and then wraps up securely. The "tongue" helps with positioning and prevents marks from being left in my skin from the ties and my daily swelling. And it fits just inside all my shoes!I've been using it for almost a year now, and I'm so very grateful to have discovered it. The professionally molded boot to fit my leg that the doctor prescribed for me ($800) does NOT work as well as this little brace. Definitely worth it!

Good support
Great for hiking easy to put on though it takes a minute to do so I don’t mind it. Though depends on what shoes you’re wearing with this also.

Scratchy, a little bulky, but stable
I have extremely weak ankles, and I've been looking for ankle braces to wear around the house. These ones are really good! My only major gripes are that they aren't so easy to take on and off, and they're a bit scratchy. They are also a little bulky, so be careful when wearing them with shoes. But my ankles are so secure in these, I don't mind the other issues! I just need to make sure to wear long enough socks with them.

Difficult to put on, and not very comfortable
This was the third ankle brace I've tried, after wearing the one my orthopedic surgeon gave me. It is very stiff with hard plastic over much of the outside. It took a while to loosen the laces so I could get it on for the first time. With my first brace I could loosen the laces enough to get the brace on without the laces pulling out of the top holes. I'm guessing that the laces need to be about five or six inches longer on this brace. I had a very difficult time, even with the laces very loose, getting the brace on. It would have probably been easier with someone else to help, but if I can't do it on my own it's not a practical brace for me. And then I had to redo the laces in the top holes, which required bending over more than I want to to accomplish.Braces that tie at the top are uncomfortable to wear all day, which I have to do, every day, at least for me. If you tie the laces too tightly you're going to cut off the circulation to your foot. That's how it feels to me. I tried this brace for a few days, but it just didn't feel right and my foot and ankle ended up hurting more than usual at the end of the day. Maybe it will work for you though as your injury may be different than mine.

Amazing Brace
Severe sprain of the ankle - I have a 9.5 EE wide foot. This brace took me a little to figure out exactly how to put it on, but it fit comfortably. You may have to unlace it most of the way with a wide foot. but I got it on and laced it up using the lace hook for the top 3, and then the wrap is self-explanatory. Did not fit in my favorite boots (Bates side zip with elastic lock laces), but my hiking boots that have the lock laces as well work just fine. so camo boots with black slacks are the look I'm sporting at work till my ankle heals!
