The media could not be loaded.  i bought these bulbs so that i could create a candle-effect in our new hardwired punched tin lanterns without the risk of real candles. i wasn't sure that they would be bright enough for my intended effect but they are PERFECT! You can easily see them flickering as the twilight as sun starts to slowly go down, and you really can see them at night once it's dark. my husband was impressed, too! i had these lanterns hardwired to a dedicated switch inside our house and had forgotten that these bulbs have three settings. if you turn them off and on you can go through each setting to the one you desire to use: steady/constant, candle-flicker, or intense glowing (like you'd see in the movies when something is "radioactive" or from another planet). all three settings have their merits and uses - right now, we love the candle effect but the glowing is pretty cool, too! these are bright enough in the dark that you can see the lanterns from the street and from inside the house, but in person on the dark patio, they are the equivalent of a candle-lit dinner. you don't want to (and can't) read by them but they create a great atmosphere and mood-lighting for evening entertaining. highly recommend and this candelabra size fit easily inside these tin lanterns!

These light are surprisingly bright, but you wouldn't want to read with them. Great to add ambience to interior spaces. Probably a bit too dim for outdoors except for Halloween...The photo on the box is misleading.. it shows a candelabra base, but it's a standard base.

The work well. However, they are too dim for me and they flicker quicker than I anticipated. It feels like they should flicker a bit less to be realistic, and they don't give off a lot of light if you have any kind of lampshade. I did not end up using them, but I am keeping them in case I one day find a purpose. They do work well and are good quality. They just don't suite my needs.

I need something small like these bulbs but after replacing the latest set, 1 has already blown only lasting 2 months! I have bought comparison one too and they didn’t last either.Struggling to find alternative.

Flicker effect emulates a candle effect very well. But the actual leds are not very small so the flame effect is very pixilated so not recommended without some kind of shade to diffuse that effect. Not very bright, so again a good candle lighting simulation but not good light for reading or bathrooms.

Put one in my front porch for Halloween. I like it so much I am going to leave it up all year. Getting more for my garage.

The media could not be loaded.  as you can see from the strange UV colored light, it is weird and I do not remember why I bought it and what I hoped to achieve. Why does this light flicker? What is it emulating? I have no idea.
