I like that they are constant moving of the second hand. You don't have the stacatto sound of the clock ticking off seconds. What I didn't like was that some of the locking nuts were tapped wrong and slid right down on the shaft of the movement. I would also like a better selection of hands. Maybe if they offered short, medium and long lengths.

Brass shaft beats others plastic ones. Shaft available in various lengths is pretty cool too.

These clocks have relatively long shafts, so not recommended if using directly against a thin clock face unless supported from the back side. Good selection of hands, though a couple of the second hands were very tight to install.I replaced a worn movement in a clock my wife liked, but none of the clock modules would keep accurate time- off as much as 1/2 hour per day.The problem turned out to be EMI interferance from a WIFI hub it was near. It worked as expected after I moved it to another location.

I bought a custom clock from Redbubble and it only worked for a few months. After researching the offerings on Amazon I decided to try these replacement mechanisms. It worked perfectly! Although the description is not clear, these can be used as "snap-in" mechanisms which is what my clock needed. The original mechanism is labeled "LongDeli 5188S".

I used these clock works to replace several of our loud ticking clocks. The units are perfectly quiet and easy to install.... and by the way they all have been keeping accurate time 3 months.
