London, SE15: A DC Ruth Hunter Murder Case

Poor research and proofreading along with an old news story
So we have colonel that is an nco that any simple Google search would fix. Dion becomes Les and then back to Dion again. There is no Les in the book!!! O apart from the typo or the cut and paste! And just mixing in an old news story with your existing characters is not really fictional excellence is it?Feels like another book rushed out at the expense of quality and credible storyline. Not sure how much longer can put up with the publisher rush to get a book out against the quality of a good storyteller.Worst one yet. I long for the old story

Disappointed
Story/plot is ok but the book needs proof-read, there are several errors in the wording. Not what I would expect.

Poorly Edited
Love these books and have read both Snowdonia and earlier in time series. This book is great but have deducted stars as it is so poorly edited that it detracts from the pleasure of reading it.Not only does it require an element of proof reading but in some cases the names of the characters are mixed up.Shame as I really have enjoyed the entire collection.Or should I say I really had enjoy thus enter collect.

Is part of this book missing ?
Is there a sequal ? very strange ending . poorly edited and researched. ie Merc SLK has auto locking , no key required and doesn't have any rear seats!!!! Not good. Enjoyed every book of Simon 's so far but this was a real disappointment .

Another good read
Another good read and its nice to read about Ruth's early life before her move to North Wales.A few typos and missed words in this book which is the 1st time ever I've come across this in any of Simon's books.I liked the storyline as very realistic and this kind of thing has happened within UK army so is really true to life.I'm finding I'm getting a little tired of Lucy and Ruth's personal lives and they seem to repeat similarly in each book so far.All in all a good read and am looking forward to reading the next book.

Incredible Read
Another brilliant story in the early career of Ruth Hunter. As always a fast paced story the grabs you at the start and doesn’t let yo go till the end. The style of writing draws the reader in and it is very hard to put the book down. Even while reading it, I find myself looking forward to the next book from Simon. All the accolades he gets are well deserved. Here is hoping the next book arrives soon. Highly recommend all of the books.

Another good read😊
This is book #4 in the DC Ruth Hunter series and is another enjoyable read despite a few disappointing inaccuracies..An ex army sergeant is found stabbed death outside a London nightclub. There is certainly no lack of suspects and I was kept guessing until the end.Well worth the read 😃

Ruth Hunter's early career is riveting
Ruth Hunter's early years in London are riveting and gives a great insight into how her later years were formed.LONDON, SE 15 is a great crime novel with twists and turns right up until the last chapter. The identification and highlighting of the histical use of abuse in the army which was proved to be factually correct proves to be a great baseline for this murder mystery.Well done Simon.
