Excellent, wouldn't go without it
I've had a Sakura air compressor in the back of the car for the last couple of years, and am very happy with it. It's accurate (I double checked with a handheld digital meter), quick, and although noisy (what do you expect) it does the job. Excellent if you drive with a couple of people in the car but regularly have to have bigger loads or more people, to keep the tyres at a safe pressure. It's also easy to keep the Sakura compressor plugged in to the tyre while deflating the tyres to the correct pressures. The only slight issue is having to keep the engine on while using it (as it is charged through the cigarette lighter), as I do not like leaving the engine on while not being in the driver's seat for safety reasons. The cable is long enough to use on a medium length estate car.

Intflated tyres quickly
Did a little bit of research and found this to be a great price v speed compressor. Its not massive so what it can do is even more impressive. It inflated 2 tyres on mum's Hyundai Matrix (think they are 15" alloys) from 10psi to 33 in about 3 minutes, if not less, per tyre (must admit didnt have the stopwatch on). Unit did all 4 without complaint and the only rest period was changing the location and connecting to next tyre.Wasnt sure I'd like the screw on connector but it worked flawlessly, entire machine is easy to operate, quick and maybe a little loud but arent they all? Decent enough length on the cable from lighter socket allowing easy positioning at wheels.Setting the psi is easy and machine lets you know when tyre is at the preprogrammed pressure. Cant comment on if its accurate (i.e. same pressure as garage machine or a tyre pressure gauge) but tyres were inflated and felt good on the road.Didn't use the light as it was midday I used it but suppose we all have mobile phones with torches/flashes, or maybe carry a torch in the car? However I imagine it will illuminate the wheel at night well enough.Price was great, well wrapped and the bag is a nice touch to keep it all together in the boot and save caught cables etc.Cant think of downsides for my needs and would happily recommend. There will be better out there just depends on how much you want to pay. Also if i close the connector in the car door (like i did my other compressor and reason for buying this) I would be ordering this again.

Completely unbeatable for the price! Does what it says on the tin.
Completely unbeatable for the price! Does what it says on the tin. It is definitely faster than my Streetwize digital air compressor and I don’t mind the analogue pressure gauge. The gauge seems accurate to +-1 psi which is acceptable for my usage, when compared to my other pump and separate pressure tester gauge. The clamp on the air hose, which connects to the tyre air valve, feels sufficiently tight when engaged and putting it on/off the valve releases no more pressure than you would expect. I am pretty impressed. Used it twice so far, once on car and once on bikes.

Seems best option at the price
So far so good. It's fairly robust but not tough to the extent that it could be chucked about or withstand bring dropped or stood on. Working well at the moment and has the feel of something that might last year's or might stop working. I'm not confident of the quality but it's no worse than others at this price point but has a better set of features than any of the other choices without paying nearly double. So fingers crossed.

Very noisy and difficult to take off without losing serious tyre pressure
I'm afraid I was disappointed with this, despite its good online reviews. It's incredibly noisy and more importantly, tricky to get on and off quickly enough to prevent losing half the tyre pressure. Needs to become as efficient as those at petrol stations. Mine will be getting sent back sadly.
