OuteeToddler Kids Adorable Lightwight Waterproof Rain Boots Light Up by Steps

After reading the reviews and following the size chart, I chose to order a size 6 which is what my daughter wore for her last pair in a different brand, Lone Cone, (she still has room to grow in those but they have cracked and will leak if they get wet now). Almost every review mentions that these run big, definitely not in our case! When they arrived I knew they were too small when I pulled them out of the box. I double checked my measurements and I ordered the “correct size” and technically they fit but would not last the summer in terms of growth as her toes were touching the end and were also smaller than her other pair in the same size. So I returned them and got a 7. The 7’s are the exact same size as the 6’s from Lone Cone. They do seem to fit her better than Lone Cone though. She lives in rain boots 90% of the time (true Oregonian lol) so I’m hoping these last longer than her old pair!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These boots are so cute. My son is 1.5 years old and these boots are the perfect height for his shorter legs. They did not have a strong plastic odor like other reviews said. And the lights are bright and fun. We haven’t made it to our rainy season yet so I do not know how long they will hold up for but the quality looks good.

The moment I saw these I knew I couldn't buy any other pair. My daughter is currently in size 4 with tennis shoes, but wears a size 5 comfortably in these. She spent a half an hour stomping around in these when she first got them making the heels light up. They are so unbelievably cute! Great quality and have held up well so far.

I ordered two pairs of these boots in different sizes / colors and the first thing you’re going to notice when you open them is the SMELL. I saw other reviewers mention that the plastic stinks, but I normally don’t mind a plastic smell (reminds me of happy childhood summers playing on pool floats) this is not that kind of plastic smell... it smells like a combination of weed and skunk and it is very strong. These boots are a bday gift for my daughter, so I hid them in my closet which was a mistake because my whole room smells like a skunk has been smoking a joint in there... for days.That aside though the boots are cute, the sparkles are very pretty and the lights on both pairs are bright and flashy. I’ve purchased other brands of rain boots in the past that have felt a little more durable and of better quality but these will do the trick. Any little sparkly girl will love these.

The quality of these boots is really good. The loops are reinforced with brads to make them not rip off when toddlers use them to pull their boots on and off 10 xs a day.She has had so many compliments on the boots. They fit well, don't make her feet too sweaty, and the light isn't too distracting.Wish they came in adult sizes too.

I bought these for my 16mo. nephew who admired his older brother and sister's boots. The boots fit great, but since he is still learning to walk properly they made travelling quickly a little more difficult for him. He's clunking heavily around but very happy doing so. And he can put them on himself. Very cute.

He never wants to take them off. But when he does my younger son tries to wear them. They keep his feet dry and keep him entertained at the same time. Did have a strong chemical smell to them when they first arrived but it has dissipated over time.

The wellies seemed to be good quality and had all the features my granddaughter wanted. The first pair received fitted her too snuggly so I ordered the next size up. However these seemed even smaller despite being labelled as a larger size. As they were needed urgently I had to go to my local garden centre (thankfully open during lockdown,) and was able to get a pair. the attached photo are both size 11 - the Outee ones are on the left. Shame as my g/daughter much prefers the purple unicorn ones! And I must say the returns/return process was quick and easy so it may be worth ordering these wellies as long as you're prepared to juggle a bit with sizing.

These purplish boots arrived quickly and fit me, not a small 3. I had not realised you have to stamp your foot to get the lights in the heel to come on, which they do for a few seconds and then stop. Its fun and I suppose the shortness will keep the battery going but I thought they would flash all the time somehow if switched on. can one renew the battery? Could they be made so walking charges them? Also the light is not that bright,its a deep purple, would look great at night. The handles so far have stayed on mine ok but I will be gentle with them as others have said they fall off. They are not straight up but flare out a bit, i don't mnd that, will probably keep mine for dressing up occasions like New Year.

I brought the ones with unicorn print on them because I thought they were going to be more appealing to my little girl, but I got those plain one delivered. Also the light does work but is hard to lighten up so they do not light while walking as expected.

These look great and the light feature is nice, but the handles break and cause small loose metal parts to come off. I would be concerned with little toddlers as this could be a dangerous hazard. I have returned 1 pair, hoping that ordering a 2nd pair it wouldn’t happen again. Not even having them for a week and only wearing them once, it’s happened again and my little toddler hands me a small metal pin from the boot. It’s clearly a design flaw and is disappointing as otherwise, these are great boots. Be careful if you order these for a small child. I am unable to get in touch with the company and am still awaiting a refund for the first pair before I can send the 2nd ones back. I would be happy to try a 3rd pair of the company could offer me some sort of reassurance or improve the design.

My little girls loves these. They look better in real life than on picture. The quality is pretty decent. Only con is that the lights don't go on very easily on this pair. We got another one for our older daughter and those lights go on very easily by just tapping her feet on the floor. On the smaller pair however it's very hard for our daughter to make the lights go on.
