This book helps with daily devotions. Every day there is an OT and NT scripture. Would recommend

love it, when reading an obscure passage there is always an explanation written in layman terms, so that is a plus, the more I read it the better I like it, read a chapter a day ,perfect for people that are busy, or not.

Was looking forward, than opened the pages, tiny lettering. I wear tri focal glasses and couldn't read it for the lettering is tiny. Gave it to my granddaughter hoping she gets curious.

I have lots of John MacArthur books, Bibles & resources. This is good daily reading tool. I like it better than a devotional, more scripture than opinion.

I love everything about this daily study Bible. I'm reading through the bible for the first time in my life and what I thought would be daunting and confusing has instead been a true delight that I look forward to every morning. I love that each day has a portion of the OT, Psalms, Proverbs and NT. John MacArthur's notes and question of the day has helped me understand and appreciate the Word more every day. I use bible highlighters to mark certain passages. They can be lightly seen on the other side of the page, and yes the paper is thin but once your really get into it, that just seems to not matter anymore.I highly recommend this wonderful daily study bible to anyone wanting to grow closer to God and in their understanding of His word. It gives you just enough each day to meditate on without feeling too "heavy" - especially for the baby Christian, like me.

I love this Bible. I am finally in the Word every day and on my way to reading the entire Bible. I've always wanted to do this and have failed. The way this Bible is organized is just right! A little Old Testament, a Psalm, a Proverb, and a little New Testament. It's just enough that it's not boring or overwhleming but I finish the day's reading feeling encouraged and inspired by passages I've never noticed before. Just the right length each day. MacArthurs few short added notes each day often explain something I mentally was questioning like he is one step ahead of me and supporting my reading. Love it. My husband got one two and it's fun to discuss our readings each day.

I bought this Bible for my mother. She loves it. She uses it as part of her daily devotional.

In keeping with Psalm 1:1-3, this has been instrumental. Has a high quality feel too.

I have the NKJV audiobook.What I adore with this - the passages Dr McArthur has running together daily are well thought out and put together and not just lumped as a “chunk a day”Personally, the NASB-95 is one of my favourite translations, and that is what I searched for a “daily bible in a year” when I found this. I’ve since purchased this for a friend now that I’m a few months in……. She is loving it too!This is one “Bible in a year,” that leaves you hungry for more scripture and admittedly, in the past - I’ve seen my daily readings for the “Bible in a year” as just a race through (totally wrong of me)……. Whereas I read this and it also guides my daily study and it’s so edifying in learning, and truly understanding the word of our awesome God!I think Dr McArthur is a fantastic expositor - and I appreciate the daily notes he has added to thisWell worth purchasing.This will be my ongoing Bible in a year for all time!Thanks John Mac!

Je leest ongeveer twee hoofdstukken uit het oude testament. Een paar verzen uit Psalmen en Spreuken en ongeveer iets minder dan een hoofdstuk uit het Nieuwe Testament. Goed te doen en de uitleg bij bepaalde verzen is erg duidelijk en verhelderend.

I already read the whole Bible multiple times, but always look for new reading plans, and this has been a blessing so far.

Too small of print for my eyes to read.
