14 Inch 15 Notes D Major Steel Tongue Drum,Premium Adult's Music Hand Drum Instrument,Clean Clear Ethereal Sounds,Purple

I especially like the sound of the D minor and having the advantage of15 notes to choose from. I am mainly finding music books for C major tabs and for less notes thus far, but I am still looking. Even so, I still prefer the sound of the D minor with 15 notes as it is more meditative and less confining. Being a larger Tongue Drum the sound quality is amazing. Better than expected, my husband agrees. Perhaps at a later date if need be I will also purchase one which is tuned in C so I can expand the number of songs I am learning (music book wise), unless I have been able to create my own music on the D Minor alone; thus I can't say if that will even be necessary. IF I do decide to add another one, I will purchase one it will most definitely be through this Company, the Kelisiting Store. Oh... and the price was excellent as well. Was able to purchase it on Cyber Monday with some Birthday money, that discount allowed me to get what I wanted the most, after doing research as to what is available in that price range. I was pleasantly surprised as to the quality for the affordable price.THIS Tongue Drum is perfect and fun to play, even though I am someone with no music background.; it offers us the ability to be versatile with 15 notes. It is beautiful too, the color is more dark gold, similar to brass rather than a light golden color similar to yellow tones. I am VERY pleased with this color and actually prefer it over the picture. It is elegant looking when it is sitting out. The braid is lovely and the mallets are a perfect size and weight, dark brown wood. I wrongly assumed they would be like a dowel with rubber heads, but they a light weight and stained with a lovely darker color which brings out the wood grain. The black case is padded and designed well; I was very impressed. Being black it will not stain easily. I did have an issue with the zipper being stuck, however the Company immediately took quick action to help me solve this issue. I highly recommend this product and the Company, they have integrity and it shows by their actions, something which is more rare than not I am saddened to say.Thank you Kelisiting, I especially desire to thank the person who contacted me when I needed help! The media could not be loaded.  This is my first tongue drum, I cannot compare with other drums. But I am glad I chose this one! I like everything about it! It sounds amazing, color is perfect , and super comfortable bag! I learned this melody “ Hallelujah” in one week and every time I play I enjoy it. If you are looking to get a tongue drum start with this one!

It is a beautiful set for the price. The carrying bag is sturdy and the mallets are good quality.I bought this for children to experiment with so for that purpose it is a reasonably priced product.I noticed #7 is not in tune and whoever had the drum before put the #4 stickers in the wrong place ( switched them around).Happy birthday is easy to play.I think for an adult trying to play music, they will probably want a better tunes instrument.

I played in band for 5 years, listened to my sisters' piano lessons for 5 years and my son's. So, I learned how to read music and developed the ability to pick out the notes to a tune by ear. Two of this drum's notes sound flat, no matter where on the tongue you strike.Pros: moderate price point, carrying bag with zippered compartment for mallets. Bag has handles and carrying strap. Included are 2 mallets and finger picks, and small booklet of songs. Nice looking drum.Cons: 2 of the tones/notes sound flat.I wish that I had listened to prior reviews mentioning the same issue and bought this type of drum at the local music shop where you can try it out to avoid such duds. This manufacturer needs to do quality control on every drum and it needs to be by someone who can play music by ear. Fire your current QC staff because they are tone deaf. Hopefully, the seller, if reputable, will contact me and tell me if this can be fixed and how to do so. The other notes sound fine.
