I almost returned this because it is a rock hard plastic disc, NOT SOFT. However, once micro-waved for 2 1/2 minutes on high, the solid material inside the disc liquefies and holds heat for an impressive 8 -10 hours! It's still rock hard, but once placed inside the cute (but very thin, un-padded) cover then wrapped up in a small fleece dog blanket, it's padded enough for my Chihuahua to sleep on in her favorite chair. Rock hard problem solved and she really enjoys the warmth! Glad I figured out how to make it comfortable for my 7 lb dog but wish the manufacturer would provide a heavily padded outer cover for the disc. That would make it a truly spectacular product.

We first decided to buy this item because we have a stray neighborhood cat. It arrived quickly, just in time for colder weather to come in. It is easy to set up, it’s durable and works very well. We were afraid he would t use it but as you can see, he loves it! Only thing I find I would change is, it needs to get a little warmer on the heating pad. We put extra blankets In with it as well, it did keep Luke warm. But for the most part, we love it

Easy to assemble, would have liked it to be larger

I been trying to keep my outside kitty warm. I bought him a house and he didn't like it. i got him a cat cave and he didn't like it. Finally, I lined a cardboard box with some sheets but I couldn't keep him warm. I tried a heating blanket but it kept turning off every half hour. I tried hand warmers but they didn't last long. I finally arrived to this item and its perfect for those single digit Colorado night. I put mine for 4 min(900 watts) and it warmed up really nice. I placed it under a self heating blanket and to my surprise. 10 hrs later, it was still hot. My cat LOVES it and took to it right away. This is perfect for places where there is no electricity. 2 thumbs up for this. 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛️ 😺 🐱 😸

Bought this heated cat house for a neighborhood cat. It was super easy to assemble. It is a nice size, and appears to be of good quality. Hopefully the cat will like it. So far she hasn’t slept in it because I just put it out on the porch for her.Update!!! She loves it. This is the most skiddish cat ever, but she loves this house. Thankfully.

The setup is easy, but the fact that it's all secured with velcro means it's not very weatherproof and should probably be used in a covered location where rain can't reach. I would not 100% trust it to keep water out.The insulation is good so it is perfect for a barn, shed, or shop where there is no heat, or in a home if you just have Cats that like to be really warm.It is big enough to fit two smaller Cats, or a mother with newborn Kittens.The price is decent at $50, no complaints there.

My puppy weighed only 1 lbs 3 oz when I got her and had to be bathed after an unfortunate potty incident. She would not stop shaking until I tucked her in with this head pack and several blankets. She loves to snuggle up next to this and it stays toasty overnight.Seriously, this is so helpful for anyone who is trying to care for a particularly small animal or one that is sensitive to cold temperatures
