Poor quality
I live in a rural area and just had a major knock sensor wiring issue due to wire eating rodents. I bought two of these (Mouseblockers) and two “Ultra Sweep Traveler” by Goodlife because I wanted to do a comparison. The Mouseblocker may work, buts it’s comparative quality and features make it a bad deal. The Mouseblocker is a plastic, one dimensional product. Don’t buy it because for the same price, you can have a superior quality product with multiple features this one doesn’t have. The Traveler by Goodlife uses heavier sheathed wiring with quality battery connectors that are twice the length of Mouse Blocker. For ease of installation, this is important. The Traveler has an on/off switch. The Traveler automatically shuts off when the car is moving. The Traveler has extended led/strobe lights to be positioned. The body of the Traveler is made of metal. The Mouse Blocker is an inferior product in every aspect.

Does Not Work
Bought this item after mice chewed through my power steering harness on a new 2018 Challenger. It cost me $330 to have the harness replaced at the dealership. I installed this device inside my engine compartment, and after less than 1 week I came out to drive my car, AND MICE CHEWED THROUGH THE SAME POWER STEERING HARNESS! Product does not work as described! Zero stars!

DID NOT WORK
Dont waste your money. I used moth balls to keep the varmint away from my car until this unit arrived. The moth balls worked and this electronic device did not. waste of money.

Pack rats have been evicted, but it wasn’t cheap
Pack rats are gone from my engine compartment! After chewing up a $1500 wiring harness, I was willing to take drastic action. This product worked. I measured the total current draw to be .0013 A, so it will not drain my car’s battery. Opening it up, I found it uses ordinary parts, and the cheapest transducer you can buy. For $60, you should get two. Installation is easy, but the wires and case will melt if they contact hot engine parts. If you can’t touch it, neither should they.

Appear to repel rodents
Purchased because we winter in AZ desert and have real issues with rodents eating truck wiring, causing thousands of dollars of damage. Tried flashing rope lights, peppermint, dryer sheets, bay leaves, Irish spring, etc and nothing worked until we got Mouse Blocker. No damage since!
