Great idea
The 2 bulbs work from the one remote control. Replace existing bulbs with these and leave the light switch on the wall in the on position. Simply point towards the bulb you want to activate and it will work. Each bulb can be operated independently of the other so long as there is sufficient distance between them. There are a range of colour options available for each bulb from red, blue, green, yellow and combinations of these. Cool and warm white are also available. There is an option to dim down the light and also to increase up again to full brightness. There is a timer option and a night light option. If required you can set the lights to phase through the main colours or to strobe. When you switch the lights off using the remote they will remember the setting and when switched back on go to the colour and brightness they were at when last switched off. My only criticism is that the remote is a little small but this may well be an advantage in some applications.

Looove the atmosphere.
I love my new bulbs, I have both of them in my lounge, one on the ceiling and another on a side lamp. It is possible to have the bulb purely as white (cool or warm or dim), available colours are: red, green, blue, orange, light green, dark blue, light blue, cyan, "purple" (which is more like pink) and yellow. There are two programmes where the lights change colour (flash type and pulse type). Personally, I find that the lighter colours are a bit pathetic and end up using red/blur/green the most and don't use the changing ones at all -I guess if I had a party then maybe....My favourite feature is "dim" because you can dim the colour lights as well to make it more atmospheric. I think there is also a timer feature but I haven't tried this. The coolest thing is that there is a "power button" that switches the light on/off -which means that if you have the bulb in your bedroom, for instance, you don't have to get up again to switch the light off!The only negative (and why I have marked "remote" down) is that every remote works for every light, (which can be a good thing too I guess) -however, it is line of sight only.

Colourful and controllable but flickery in dim modes.
Bought this partially as light therapy and partly as a bit of fun. Fairly easy to get the hang of via the remote and the colours are pleasantly vivid. Installs exactly like a regular bayonet light bulb, and has the advantage that it can be turned on or off from anywhere in the room with the remote (Though this does mean that the wall switch remains on.)The remote offers access to 14 colour modes, not including dimmed versions of these, and three more can be accessed via the stepped colour cycling option. Slightly disappointing there's no other way to get at these, because at least one of those seems like a decent alternative to the warm and cool modes. The dimmed and darker colours, and especially the "night light" mode, rapidly strobe the LEDs on and off to emulate low light, which some people might find uncomfortable on the eyes. I have to wonder if this might have an effect on people with light-sensitive epilepsy.Additionally, the pure blue mode seems to give off some UV / black-light, since a black-light sensitive painting began to glow when that was active. Cannot tell if this is intended or not.The warm and cool colours/modes cause the bulb to function like a standard light bulb, for those times when the therapy / fun is over.I would have liked a little more direct control over the colour LEDs to be able to pick my own colours, but that may be something available in a colour bulb at a higher price point. For the price, this bulb and remote is decent enough.Overall, a pretty decent product, but a star off for the raw flicker in the dimmed modes and the undocumented UV.

Unreliable product.
While they worked they were great, bright or dim, good colour range and easy to use and install. The only down side is after 2 set of them they stopped working after only a weeks usage. A real disappointment as they were a good exactly what I wanted and seemed to be fine in the beginning. I sent one set back as I thought it might have been a fault with the first set, but it happened again on the second. 4 bulbs all going in such a short time... Cheap quality and reliability is all I can say.

Only one works
Only one of the bulbs work the other one stopped working with the remote control after 4 days but still works from the light switch but for the price and the fact it’s Chinese you can’t expect to much, you buy rubbish you get rubbish. Arrived on time.

Happy kids
Happy children. My daughter has sensitivity to lights and the colours enable her to have her main bedroom light on.Both children love that it is controlled by alexa.Easy to install.Love that I can turn off the lights remotely, as they often fall asleep with the light on (dimmed)

Less than 3 months use
The bulb was great while it lasted but that was less than 6 months after I bought it & about 3 months use. They say average life 30000 hours, that's about three & a half years at 24 hours a day. Some people must be getting a real bargain. Only used the first one, if the average pans out the second one should outlive me. At £7 a bulb & 3 months lifespan we're not going to save the planet using these bulbs, maybe just help some to leave it.
