I purchased the Lighwode head shaver for men July 2023. I gave this product high marks in a resent review; but after using the product for a few short months its quality is questionable. I notified Amazon that the Sideburn Trimmer no longer functioned properly and needed to be replaced. Amazon Customer Service representative contacted the vendor to request a replacement Sideburn Trimmer in early September. To-date, I have not received the replacement part or any word from the vendor about what actions are needed to resolve this issue. Bottom line, buy this product at your own risk.

1) I like the design of the main unit (the battery) a lot. If fits well in my hand when I shave.2) This is my first ever electric razor (I'm upper middle-aged).3) I always shave my head - normally with a safety razor - and I expected it to shave my head and everything well. However, I feel hairs being pulled out ( especially on the throat area) and I am left with a good bit of scruff. on my neck.(4) It does seem to work OK (but not perfectly) on my head and face.(5) Cleaning out the razor is pretty easy * EXCEPT * that it seems nearly impossible to remove the center "lid", which gathers a lot of hair for the center reservoir.

The media could not be loaded.  I originally bought it back in December 2021. Didn't actually get around to using it for about a month. But once I did, I loved it! It worked well, and was easy to use and clean. Time remaining display is inaccurate though, a full charge of "90 min" actually turns out to be about 40. If you let your hair get too long between shaves, it definitely yanks out the hairs (only on my face and neck). But overall, I liked it.However, it broke or died or whatever about 6 months later. I hit the company up and they were kind enough to replace it even though it was just after the warranty expired. I was happy about that. The new one worked well for about a year when today, 25% of the way through shaving my head, the unit just stopped working. Says it has 45 min of battery life left, but the button won't work. When I push it, it spins a half of a rotation for about a 10th of a second and then stops. The LED's on the display just run up and down the screen row by row (see video) but nothing else happens. Sometimes it shows the "Clean" icon and an exclamation mark, which I've never seen before. I think that it means "buy a different brand".

I've used name brand versions of this same type of product and this generic one is equally good and a better deal. Most contour head shavers have only 5 cutting head - and the 7 heads on this one does make a difference - it gets the job done faster with less repetition over the same areas, and presumably that will increase the total life of the head assembly, as each individual blade is doing less work and will stay sharp longer.The product does not feel cheap, though it doesn't feel particularly 'solid' or luxurious either. The name brands I've use felt exactly the same as this unit, and had exactly the same features, components, etc. If you put a brand label on this product, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.So a good deal for the price.

This shaver makes short work of the stubble, it cut through the hair on my head just fine, took a little longer, but still did a nice job and in a reasonable amount of time. One of the best shavers when I can’t use a razor.Most contour head shavers have only 3 or 5 cutting heads, and the 7 heads on this one does make a difference.It does a close cut and the groomer blade works well, and pleasantly the razor buzzing sound is not too loud.The head shaver is what I primarily use it for.Cleaning is very easy and simple. Customer service response is prompt and easy to work with should you have any issues.

I got this for my husband as a gift. I had been buzzing his hair every three weeks for him and honestly was getting tired of it. He can use this on himself and uses it every third day or so. It keeps his head hair very short, almost bald, which gives him a very clean look. It's easy to use and doesn't take very long at all, after a bit of practice. I love how he looks and he enjoys using this product!

Love this product for shaving my head

Obviously not as close as a razor, but very decent and doesn't pull hair at all! It really does a good job and fast! The center blade is a bit hard to remove for cleaning, the rest are ok but each blade must be opened individually. Not a huge problem but perhaps a design where all blades can be uncovered at once? With this many blades, maybe that's not easily done. The nose/ear hair trimmer seems to work fairly well also. Battery life seems very good. Overall quality is not high in terms of robustness so hard to say if it will break down faster than a higher priced option. No way to comment on that. I would say it's worth buying for the price as it actually cuts hair very well! Will it stand the test of time? Time will tell! :)

Works really well but definitely takes some getting used to. Have someone check your work after so you don’t have drag marks. Definitely use when wet, not dry. It seems to trim better. Overall it’s good for the price you pay. Easy to charge, shows the batter on the front. Cleaning seems to be easy too.

For bald shaving only

This thing pulls your hair out rather than cutting them. Sent me back to the flashback of when I ate a girl out the first time. As she was "arriving" she decided to grab my hair and pulled. Ouch. This thing is even less gentle. That's the trimmer attachment. The shaver wasn't as bad and it does cut pretty close, leaving the shaved area feel pretty smooth. That's about as positive as I can get. The hair pulling certainly was a not so pleasant WAKEY-WAKEY early in the morning.

I always wanted a small machine so I carry it. It has a face scrubber which is Amazing product, but the beard machine doesn’t work very well just using it for face massage that’s it.It got rust in shaving blades in no time. Very poor quality.
