My daughter weighs about 35 pounds, and if she laid down on the pillow, the vibration would not turn on. She had to put almost her entire body on top of the pillow in order for the vibration to start. Not comfortable for laying face on. The leather is cold and hard, not comforting if you ask me. Would prefer a soft/fuzzy cover over the pillow.

UPDATE: Well, here's what happened AFTER I accidentally broke off the plastic housing that protects the plug-in. The teeny wires were exposed, of course, so they eventually broke off from the connector. Now the pillow won't work. Meanwhile, another parent in my class bought her son a pillow. I've charged it once and was very careful how I connected and disconnected the plug. So far, so good. But that still leaves me with a $40 pillow that doesn't work. I'm going to contact PlayLearn to see if they can repair it. I was getting ready to write a grant hoping to buy at least 10 more.I bought this for a 4th grade student in my class who used to rock nearly all day long. The first time he tried it, he didn't rock all day. Not even once! The second day, same thing, no rocking. On Day 3 he started to rock but one reminder to check to see if the pillow was turned on helped him to stop rocking. I will be writing a grant to see if I can get more for my classroom. I have 27 students, eight with learning disabilities, three on the spectrum, and I've lost count how many are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and anxiety. The only thing I would caution is the very first day that I charged it, I was in a rush and yanked out the plug, which broke off the plastic housing that attaches to the pillow. I can still charge it, it's just that the plug is now exposed. No big deal, but just a caution to be careful.

The plastic piece holding the charging post got knocked off within a few times of using it. I'm upset and frustrated. What a dumb place to put it... the pillow unzips for a reason. Put the charging port inside, not outside!
