Simple, High-Energy Corn That Brings Birds and Wildlife to Your Yard
Kaytee Corn on the Cob is a basic, no-frills feed option that works exactly how it’s supposed to: it attracts birds and wildlife with a source of high-energy food that’s easy for them to eat. Whether you’re filling a specialty corn feeder, offering it on a tray, or placing it where birds and small critters can access it easily, this corn gets noticed. The quality of the corn itself is what you’d expect — clean, intact kernels that hold up well in a feeder or on a platform. It doesn’t turn to mush quickly if it gets a bit damp, which helps reduce waste. Most birds that enjoy corn — like jays, doves, sparrows, and even squirrels — take to it readily, and you’ll often see activity pick up shortly after it’s put out. This isn’t a seed blend designed for finicky or specialty species, so don’t expect hummingbirds or tiny insect-eaters to show up just because you have corn out. But for what it is, it does the job. For folks who want to attract larger songbirds or a mix of backyard wildlife on a budget, this is a good tool in your feeding setup. The 6.5-pound bag is a nice size for regular use and doesn’t go bad sitting in a garage or storage bin until you’re ready to refill feeders. It’s easy to pour and handle without dust or mess, which makes it more pleasant to work with than some seed mixes that shed chaff everywhere. Overall, Kaytee Corn on the Cob is straightforward, reliable feed that brings bird activity when used appropriately. It’s not fancy, but it’s effective for its purpose — and an easy recommendation if you want a basic, energy-rich option to supplement your backyard bird feeding. Five stars for quality, simplicity, and performance.

Squirrels love the stuff
I have purchased these a few times and noticed that depending how it is shipped in a box or bag, the product will come with more lose corn that has fallen off the husks. I can still put the loose corn in the feeder and the squirrels still eat it. I have also gotten a bag with more shorter cobs which means I have to replace more often. The cost is cheaper then most of the local stores nearby.

Squirrels Love This Product
The squirrels in our yard love this treat. They munch on the cob for a bit, then take the left over cobs somewhere for future use.

Kaytee Corn on the Cob.
Review for Kaytee Corn on the Cob 6.5 pounds for $13. I counted 18 corn cobs full of dried kernels. Quality is very good. Value for money is OK. This product is used to feed squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks. I used them to supplement the corn feed mixture I have for pigeons. It was easy strip the kernels off the cob. Decent but not great
I built a squirrel feeder and then drill holes in the end of the corn cobs to put on the feeder. I have bought this product twice now, but I'm not super impressed. The corn cobs are all sorts of irregular sizes and both bags have had a large amount of loose corn in the bottom that had come off the cobs, probably in shipment/warehousing/delivery. These are inexpensive, which is a plus, but if there were other options, I would probably at least try them out.
