Great fun for the kids
Kids absolutely love them, really light and well made. Be careful to charge with 5v 1A as others have mentioned. It can cause damage to battery, luckily the after sales team where great with helping me resolve the issue.

My boy loves them
A bit pricey as a kid’s toy, but I decided to go for durability as a toy that would last. My 4 year old plays pretty rough and didn’t want to end up having it broken in 5 mins so went for dueling sabres which are meant for adults to use (so must stand up to kids)The lightsabers create a pretty realistic glow and satisfying sound effects when hit together.It’s a pack of two.. the attach together to form a double sabre like that use by darth maul.

Review edited - avoid these!
Purchased these for my son's birthday and made the mistake of getting them early, so they were out with the 30 days when he received them.Within a day, one saber had lost all sound, and had had something rattling about inside it from the start. On contacting the company, they gave me the option of waiting three weeks for a replacement handle from China or they could send a replacement set from Amazon "if I wrote a review". Obviously as a gift for my son, I wanted a replacement as soon as possible.Pretty clear the review needed to be positive as they were waiting for it to go live before authorising the replacement from the UK.Quite apart from the dodgy company, when the replacement set arrived, one was totally dead and the other (while it works and makes the sounds) also has a rattle inside it.Also note that they are not full size. Work fine for my 8 year old, but if you're buying for cosplay as an adult, they will look rediculous.So, I have four sabers, two of which are faulty, one of the working one rattles. That's a pretty awful defect rate. Avoid this junk at all costs, let alone the £80 I spent on them.

Feels heavy duty but cracked on the inside
I liked how the handles have some weight to them which would indicate a high quality product but upon opening the box and inspecting the handles, one has a cracked in the light. As much as I'm sure this won't effect performance, it will likely effect the longevity of the product. Im sure its just a faulty product though and would be happy to return the product if a replacement can be sent out at no extra cost to me (I got it on amazon prime sale day).Apart from the crack in the light, the saber fits together easily and is easy to use. A word of warning though, it does not come with the connector to make it a single dual saber. It just has the 2 separate sabers.Update: im silly, if I had actually read the instruction manual before posting about the cracked light, I would have seen that the connectors are infact included, attached to the bottom of each handle!Thank you,Issy

Got this for my child at Xmas he’s mad for them and absolutely loves them,he is gentle with them but they do withstand a battle and charge well,very bright lots of colours and sounds,worth every penny to see him so happy seam very sturdy to me,pleased with my purchase

Acceptable mid-price dual sabre
These won't win any awards and have some needlessly bad UX points, but they do the job.The 'swish' sound is just a loop, which is annoying as heck and you'll end up turning it off (but at least you can!)The colour isn't remembered, so when you turn it back on, you'll have to select it all over again.The sounds (beside the 'swish' loop) are fine. Not amazing, but acceptable.They look pretty good, except the tips of the sabres which look quite weird, but the handles feel sturdy and they'll take a little combat without falling apart.I feel like they ought to be cheaper for what they are, but they withstood a halloween night out and made my costume look a bit more fun, so I'm OK with that!

Just make sure you use the right charger or you can damage the battery.
Make sure you use a 5V 1A charger for charging, I hadn’t noticed the necessity for 1A as well as 5V so I used the wrong charger (see photo above). This caused the battery to be damaged.The aftersales team were great at helping me with this issue.My son loves his light saber and can’t wait for friends to come over and play with him.

Nice item. One small issue but the seller was excellent at resolving
Great product for the cost and exactly as described. It was a gift for my son who was very impressed with them.Had a small issue but the seller responded straight away and offered different options for resolving the problem.Would definitely buy from them again.
