Great computer out of the box.
It's so nice to open up a boxed computer and not have to worry about a bunch of unnecessary setup. I've had an MSI computer in my arsenal already so I know they make a decent product. It's a great little laptop. Super lightweight. Windows 10 Pro. SSD drive. No changing from Windows 10S to Home or Pro. Just works out of the box.Installed Vivaldi and setup tabs. Fiber Optic AT&T running at 400+MBs. Uninstalled Norton and installed Avast and I'm up and running. I've read that the color calibration isn't the best and there's some trust to that, but it's not terribly bad and for $500+, it's well worth it. No dedicated graphics card, but this isn't intended for heavy gaming.I just needed a fast computer that would work out of the box and I wouldn't need to worry about lag or micromanaging everything to get it to work smoothly. Mission accomplished.Took a chance on the one five-star review and I'm glad I did. It's super lightweight and looks beautiful as well.

It's perfect.
My fiance recommend an MSI, and I chose this one because it's smaller, super light weight, and had a lot of great features that he told me made it better than the other laptops I was considering.I was having issues with the sound- apparently one of its updates made it so that the sound was always muted. One of my friends managed to fix the issue, but I thought I would mention it because I was close to leaving a negative review because of it. My friend and fiance both told me that MSI is a very good brand, and I'm happy with my new laptop.

Feels like quality build at an affordable price.
I'm really liking this laptop thus far (1 month). The build quality feels very good. The laptop is compact yet doesn't feel cramped. Battery life seems good as well. Only slight negative is that at this price point one might expect for it to have a touch screen.

nice laptop except for the battery
This is a nice little laptop/netbook to which I would give 5 stars except for its terrible battery life. The battery discharges uncommonly fast when in use, in just a few hours, but, unlike any other laptop I've ever owned, it continues to discharge when fully powered down, at a rate of 2 to 5% /day. And I do mean 'powered down' not just sleeping or hibernating but full off. Coupling the 'discharge while off' with relatively rapid discharge while in use means that you basically have to have it plugged in most of the time. For this reason alone, I do not recommend this product and, oh yes, I paid the shipping to return for a warranty repair; it came back with 'nothing wrong'. Sorry folks. Something is wrong.
