Excellent product - easy setup and quality images .

I bought a non branded mount for this as the one it comes with wasn’t suitable for where I needed it. Now it’s up, it’s sturdy, working well and it’s super easy to change and charge the battery.

We’ve had this Ring battery camera now for 47 days and it’s just asked me to recharge the battery, though we do have regular couriers, groceries delivered etc plus my son in a out a few times daily, so I guess I’m not totally surprised the battery doesn’t last too long, what does surprise me though is that it needs recharging when it still has 30% left in it.It is easy to set up and we’ve only had one problem with it not working on New Year’s Eve, where I contacted Ring via their Facebook social media team and they were very helpful. It has a very sharp HD image and good sound to pick up the person outside but the microphone inside the camera is frankly poo. You can hardly be heard, even shouting, not that I encourage you to shout at your visitors, but the volume really could be much better. We decided to put ours on the ceiling of our outside porch, however, this entails purchasing a further bracket at £19, I do think this should be in the box for the money it costs as it’s a fairly simple thing. Having said that it does improve the vision range better than wall hung. It works with a Ring app and via Alexa, though I find the Alexa Show slow to show the live footage. She does tell you when someone’s at the door though via the echo dots too. (This isn’t so good when my son works very early morning shifts I’ve found lol). Being battery powered you can place it wherever you want, I purchased a spare Ring battery from Amazon too at the time, I charged both initially and yesterday I used the second battery which had held its charge. It’s easy to replace the battery and it’s soon back up and running automatically. I purchased mine on the Black Friday deal in November, I might get the solar panel for it on another offer to keep the battery topped up (I didn’t realise you could do this until recently), I thought it was either battery, solar or wired. I recommend this camera for outside especially on offer, they seem reliable and a quality build with support there when you need it. I have signed up to the £24 a year cloud video storage, it’s worth having this for peace of mind and it’s useful for the police too who regularly ask Ring owners to help out with video footage that could help identify a criminal. I think the camera is a deterrent to any would be thief and gives us peace of mind.

Perfect. Very easy to install. Long battery life. Not too big so discreet in the garden and the video quality is perfect. Seemless link up to the app and easy to connect to other ring devices.

Ive had cctv with msssive cables behind tv etc ,To have this and wireless in a new home is great , deliverd and mounted to moniter my drive in less than 10 mins inc set up is fantastic and £85 is value for money , quality of camara is great solid , picture quality is great 10/10

Excellent quality works really well

I bought this to try and catch fly tippers outside of my property. I didn’t want the hassle of installing it outside so I tried through the window by keeping it on the windowsill. I know that you’ll find advice stating not to use it in the window due to the glare. I have however at times managed to use it without a glare problem but you can sometimes see the blue lights reflecting in the window/video. I also couldn’t pick up any motion from having indoors on the windowsill and it facing the window, even if I walked straight passed it from right outside. Another thing I found was if it rained or your windows are dirty, it obviously impacts the quality greatly by having it indoors looking out through the window. Anyway, I knew this before I bought it but thought that may be useful information for some.I then decided to start using it to watch my cat while at work/away! It works very very well almost to the point I got too many motion notifications as my cat is always in and out, climbing and running all over the place! I didn’t mind though and you can turn notifications off and adjust settings so you don’t get alerted/record as much. it’s brought me so much comfort being able to see him! the picture is clear enough that I can also see my prayer plants opening and closing/moving throughout the day! I like the alarm feature but I’ve not needed to use it, I tested it once and it’s pretty loud. I like that I can download footage from the motion detected, I sometimes catch Milo doing funny things on camera and even managed to catch him peeing on the floor, the quality was clear enough that I could zoom in and see whether he had left a puddle or not! I tried calling someone at home from my mobile to let them know but they didn’t answer the phone. Here’s what I loved most about the camera... Using the live view I saw my mum was in the room and she obviously didn’t notice what happened... I then turned on the microphone feature to speak to her and have a full blown conversation about the pee on the floor!! Sorry if that’s too much information!! picks up sound very well. the battery lasts quite long which surprises me. overall very happy.

Super caméra qui tient longtemps.Positionnable n'importe où (intérieur/extérieur). Elle est vraiment très polyvalente et petite.Pour autant l'image est très correcte.Ce qui est dommage c'est qu'elle se connecte au wifi uniquement. Pas de possibilité de rajouter une carte sim par exemple.L'autonomie est d'un an environ avant de recharge la batterie.C'est un excellent produit qui s'interface très bien avec le système d'alarme de la marque.Je recommande.
