very high-quality
This is a very high quality speaker with a deep sound it delivers for bass. I was rather impressed by the sound depth that came out of it just being driven by a MOSFET JVC head unit. The bummer about it though is the fact that it only comes with one for the price that it is. It's a great sound quality but man a pair would be so much nicer, just one at arguably the price of two is kind of a let down. I've had many sound systems in many different cars over the years, and yes this offers a premium sound, but not so drastically that I would spend double to just to have them. I'd have to be financially set like ElonMusk to approach my expenditures as such. But it is a premium sound and if the price was to decline on the product theres a good chance I would consider getting more.

Follow up- Good for GM Delco Units w 10 ohms - 6x9's Installed in 1988 Corvette Non-Bose System
1988 C4 Corvette Non Bose System - Follow up review - These speakers sound great so far after a week - be advised these speakers do not respond well when over-tightened to the point where the frames are out of shape - the speaker will not work properly if twisted slightly - it will buzz and sound weak without bass until the frame sits level or straight - I am very happy with the sound quality of these - strong bass and clear loud mids as advertised.

Not worth it
Not the best I’d go with something else honestly.

Its ok but needs modification to keep using it
I am not sure how to say this but it IS A GOOD SPEAKER - but I do not think it is quality assured properly. Think after about a week I can hear a rattle and a shake that is not part of the songs I listen to. I plan to take it apart and re-glue some of the cone and add some foam to it to ensure it is able to take loud sounds. It is a normal speaker - the base is just not there in my opinion. We are happy with it as it does take normal use just fine - but if we crank up the jams - it rattles.
