Size Hole
Even though they are advertised with wicks the hole is so small I couldn't thread a #3 cotton wick through them. I am using them but I had to hammer a nail through it first to increase the hole size before I could use them costing me a couple of hours worth of work. Due to this I would not re-order

Low quality metal
About half of these are rusted or tarnished. I didn't notice until I had already used a few. They still work, but definitely not a high quality item. If you're looking for a wick base to use in candles that you will be selling, I would advise finding a higher quality product.

Practice makes perfect
They work pretty well, even though I had a couple that didn't hold the wick no matter how well I pinched the stem with the wick in it. I will continue to use them.
