Maybe Mac users are able to easily move photos back and forth between their iPhones and their laptops, but for those of us with iPhones and PCs it's always a struggle without one of these thingies. I had another brand of a similar item and recently realized with dismay that it wouldn't work with my new iPhone (USB-C), so I purchased this one. Of course it needed me to download yet another app, but that was fine. It worked great on the first go, downloading the hundreds (thousands?) of accumulated photos from my iPhone and allowing me to copy them to my PC for posterity before doing a purge and thinning the ranks on my phone.This appears to also have an adapter (buried, weirdly, inside the USB-A end) for using on an older iPhone with the lightning port, but I didn't try that.

For some reason it was not recognized and to make it worse i re-format it. My computer recognize it after that as well as my iphone but for some reason could not save pictures due to error of finding the path. I contacted support and keep in mind that was after 9 months because i usually do not complain.Support gave a lot of solutions but none of them worked and to my surprise they sent me a new one free of charge. I tried the new kne and it worked perfectly, also the rate of transfer is decent.I could not be more happier for their prompt responses even after midnight.I will definitely do business again with this company because of their top notch customer service.Thank you

** Updated Review **I decided to give this product another shot and buy another flash drive because there was a coupon and so many reviews were raving that I thought it might have just been the flash drive I received that was faulty. I received a new one and it worked very well at first (better than the first one) Now I go to use it a few weeks after and instantly had issues with my iPhone not recognizing the device anymore but I got my computer to access it so it was fine. I try again on different mobile devices and eventually, it starts working again only for my files to glitch and completely disappear .... now after going back in, thankfully a lot of the files are still there but there are countless files that now appear to be in the drive but I am unable to access them and they will not open. I am absolutely heartbroken to lose these files and regret trusting in the second device and that is my mistake. I would absolutely not recommend buying this product as it has now failed me twice and I have lost access to my important videos that I do not think I will be able to get back.Old Review:This product works pretty great at first but within my first night of installing stuff I already started to receive an “error” message when trying to access items directly after putting them on the device. I am unable to access these items and they are still taking up storage on the device despite not being able to access them. When I attempted to delete the items it won’t allow me and therefore is still taking up storage. I have been able to upload a few other items without this issue but now every time I try to upload something it does not work and I get the error message. Now I am worried it will get to the point where I am unable to access the other items as well.

It was difficult to figure out and no directions . I had to google how to use it.

I have searched this product and found out some are weary about the data download software. I'm guessing they think the same of tic toc If you download on tic toc it should not be a problem Put all that to the side, it is fine.

I bought this because my iPhone storage is full and needed to clear some space. I will be buying more instead of paying Apple every month for storage space. Easy to set up and to use.

It said it would work with my iPhone so I got it to upload my photos. Well, it seems to download photos for hours which depleats my phone battery so I had to pause to charge my phone. When I resume it seems to download the same photos. This is probable user error. I also can’t upload those photos onto my laptop because It seems to say no photos were ever uploaded. After 2 days and many hours I gave up. I pay for iCloud

excelent it works in my iphone.. nobody believe it. I am very happy. I am just learning to use my iphone and I am doing well. it works in my android and in I think in my Apple. I haven't try.
