I waited to review the sealer until I used it numerous times, the sealer works well and keeps the wine fresh. I found you need to keep your fingers on the cork when taking the sealer mechanism off so it doesn’t loosen and let any air in. The one BIG downfall is the coloring of the meter. You hold the button down until the lever hits the green area indicating all the air in the bottle has been removed. The green is on a black background and almost impossible to see, you are more or less guessing when the lever has hit that spot. The green should be a white or another LIGHT color since it’s on a dark background. That’s the only drawback, but it’s a huge one not to be able to see if you have all the air removed.

Arrived on time and good product

I got this to replace a wine saver functionality of a larger Food Saver vacuum sealer. It works reasonably well. The gauge is super helpful to know when you're done.The weaknesses are the following:1) need a way to get more stoppers, it comes with 2 and I can't find exact replacements2) stronger vacuum. sometimes I feel like it's struggling, but it eventually gets to the target air pressure3) kills batteries. it's battery operated and runs out super quickly... about every 10 bottles.

The first one wouldn't even work; the motor never made a sound. Switched battery polarity just to check, but same thing. The replacement worked three times and then died. This thing is useless and a waste of time.

I swear by Rabbit wine bottle openers. I have had several. This one just doesn't work. You have to manipulate it to get the cork out. Very disappointed!!
