I took a chance on purchasing this pedi set based on the reviews. I have never attempted getting rid of callouses, etc. on my feet by anyone. Mostly because I never had any issues!During the cold months as well as aging, has made my heels prone to getting very dry and, I noticed I developed a large callous under a big toe. I thought, “Why not try to DIY instead of paying an ungodly amount by going to a Dr.”. I’m glad I made this purchase! YES, the reviews are correct…these are SHARP!! Please be very cautious if you have never used instruments like these. I started out very gently, being sure to keep the angle as flush with the skin as possible. If you don’t get the angle right, you can definitely chance gouging skin off that shouldn’t COME off!I have used this set several times now, going slowly at taking off the larger callous and, so far, they work beautifully. I imagine, if you take your time and/or have someone assist you, you can definitely remove your own corns, warts, etc.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend to anyone who has basic ‘foot’ issues. Knock on wood, crossed fingers and, prayers…I have not cut myself to draw blood!

I am not a pedicurist, but these blades are very sharp! Not knowing exactly how to properly use the tool (i referenced the photos here on the amazon page), i went ahead and removed a bit of ingrown toenail with ease. I did end up going a bit too far in at an angle, since the blade is really sharp, you need lots of steady hand control to stay on path.After using the tool on my toes, my toes felt a little tender, probably because of all the nail imperfections i have on my feet. So i hope that doesn't scare anyone from buying this set, it's really nice to have - i probably just have sensitive foot skin or feet, in general. Kind of learning this stuff as i go along in life.I hope they last for a long time, with their sharpness. A great product from Segbeauty for a first-time user like myself.

After months of living with super-dried out thick calluses on my feet from winter...well, I got my feet back, with these knives. They're technically known as the Yang-zhou pedicure knives in China (you can find some info and demos on Youtube).I've lost patience with scrubbing with a foot file. Foot cheese grater rasp scraper wasn't doing the trick. The foot "safety razor" wasn't working well. My feet needed their fresh skin to shine! No amount of foot cream was solving my super cracked, calloused feet. I bought a foot callus remover peel as a last resort, and have yet to use it.While the bottom of your feet look like they're a bit butchered at first upon finished use, the calluses came off with little effort. Somehow, these knives are able detect old callused skin, and it comes off easily. I am amazed!I can feel the floor under my feet. It is a weird feeling! Overtime, I am growing healthy callused skin, and am able to keep it managed with these knives. They're sharp. Well built. The case and the individual knife covers keep them safe when not in use.You have to be careful using these though. Use them like a foot file...with the angle of holding them, parallel to your foot. Use light pressure. And scrape away. And don't scrape away too much, you may bleed. So, just a word of caution. Go slow, take your time. But they work!This is a great buy! Vs., purchasing the foot peels over time for each use. You get this for the price for one foot peel, and can use again. As a professional mail technician I wanted something for myself at home but didn't want to spend a lot. THESE SRE GREAT! Be careful though they are super sharp you can EASILY cut yourself or someone else! Awesome deal!

Wow. This is what I got to say about these knives. I have never handled anything as sharp as these. They are great with trimming the built up garden nails. The smaller width knives are great to get in between the skin and nails. These are my favorite tools to do my nails.

I have constant ingrown so I purchased this to help take care of them.. as a nail tech I can tell you it’s pretty dull. It works for the heel of your foot but if you’re looking for a mini blade for ingrowns this isn’t it.

Ich habe ab und zu ein Nagel am Fuß der leider einwächst und habe lange nach etwas gesucht wie ich das Problem beheben kann. Mit dem Set bin ich super happy! Nach dem duschen kann ich Problemlos den Nagel schneiden. Die Klingen sind sehr scharf und selbst bei einem trockenen Nagel geht es super durch. Das set kam super verpackt an und jedes Instrument ist einzeln geschützt verpackt. Kann ich sehr empfehlen 👍🏼
