Read to the END! These flood lights were compact and I was mounting them on my old riding mower in a vertical position. The slim design was ideal for that. They look good on this old tractor. When lit, they provide a decent amount of light which is fine for the occasional times I'll use them at night. They were about the same brightness as my old 35W incandescent flood lights. They provide more than adequate for mowing. They're low amp drain, too, and my old tractor has a low amperage alternator so this is a plus! I have them aimed each about 10 degrees to the right and left of center and the lights overlap nicely giving me about 60-80 degrees of flood lighting. The mounting hardware was all stainless steel, too, and came with the Allen wrench to match.NOW the bad parts: Not as bright as I'd have expected but still adequate. The brackets that came with these lights appeared to be used. The painted edges were all chipped up. They did have a slot to hold the mounting bolt for tightening. Further, the yoke on these brackets were about 1/4" wider than the mounting block on the back of the lights. Were I to screw them tight as provided, the brackets would have looked like this: /_____\ instead of this |______| To solve that, I added several washers to fill in the gap. The other problem was the nuts for these brackets have to be positioned part way down in a deep & narrow recess in the mounting block. I thought I'd use a magnet to hold them until the mounting screw was started, but these are high quality stainless and a magnet doesn't stick. Needle-nose wouldn't work either. I ended up using a surgeon's forceps to hold them by the edge.

Cheap, lack luster light output! You get what you pay for. I wasn’t expecting much for the price but my cheap single led headlight puts out more light than this!

These lights are very dim compared to a different brand set i have the same size. Dont waste or money on these duct tape a little flash light to ur hood about the same brightness

The current draw is about .56A @12V so if you want bigger lights that don't draw much power and not really shine any light this may be for you. I purchased similar lights at a local store that are actually 18W and will buy more. I will return these. In fairness to the seller these might be equivalent to 18w incandescent bulbs, an oversized interior light.

very easy to mount and wire into my back-up light system and perfect for front of truck when on back roads. Turns night into day. Love these lights

Bought 2 installed them than turned them on. One half worked and the other was a dud.Don't buy these. I suggest a different company.
